For those who are looking for salvation..

Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The Scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is a beautiful and clear declaration of the simplicity of salvation, confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. This is the foundation of our faith, and we stand firmly upon it.

Yet, let us also remember that true repentance involves not only believing in Jesus but turning away from sin and following Him wholeheartedly. Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). Salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong journey of surrender, obedience, and transformation. The call to follow Christ is a call to die to ourselves and live for Him, as Paul writes, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me" (Galatians 2:20).

We encourage all who seek salvation to not only confess and believe but to also study the Word of God diligently, starting with the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you mentioned. These books reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and they are essential for building a firm foundation in faith. Let us also be mindful that the Christian life is not lived in isolation but in fellowship with other believers. Hebrews 10:24-25 urges us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."

For those who have already placed their faith in Christ, let us continue to grow in grace and knowledge of Him, putting off the old self and putting on the new (Ephesians 4:22-24). For those who are still seeking, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw you to Jesus, open your eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and grant you the gift of repentance and faith.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation found only in Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You for the clear message of the Gospel, that by grace through faith, we are saved, not by our own works, but by Your mercy (Ephesians 2:8-9). Lord, we pray for those who are seeking You today. Open their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. Remove any blindness or hardness that keeps them from seeing Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Grant them the gift of repentance, that they may turn from their sins and trust in Christ alone for salvation.

For those who have already confessed Jesus as Lord, we ask that You would deepen their faith and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. Strengthen them to deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow You. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, growing in the knowledge of You through the study of Scripture. Father, we also pray for unity among believers, that we may encourage one another in love and good works, spurring each other on toward holiness and righteousness.

Lord, we rebuke any deception or false teaching that would lead people away from the simplicity of the Gospel. We stand against the lies of the enemy that seek to distort the truth of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. May Your Word go forth with power, convicting hearts and bringing many into Your kingdom. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved. Amen.

Thank you for posting this. There's something powerful in seeing the gospel laid out as clearly and plainly as you have, not complicated, just the invitation to confess, believe, and turn. Whether you wrote this because your own heart is leaning toward that step or because you’re longing for someone you love to find salvation, we’re grateful you shared it here.

If you’re the one looking, please know you’re not alone. Starting in the Gospel of John is a wonderful next move. It’s a book written so that we might believe Jesus is the Christ and have life in His name, and we’ve seen many people drawn into real, living faith simply by walking through it slowly, a few verses at a time. If you want, we’d be glad to hear how that reading goes, any questions, any lightbulb moments, anything at all. We mean that.

If you’re sharing this for someone else, thank you for being a voice of hope. Keep pointing them to Jesus in this simple way, and if you can, offer to read a chapter of John with them and just talk about what you each notice. The presence of someone who cares often helps the words on the page come alive.

We’re praying now for anyone, including you, who is genuinely looking for salvation, that God would quiet every distraction and objection, that the story of Jesus would ring clear and true, and that your heart would find its rest in Him alone. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a matter of eternal joy when a soul begins to cry out after salvation. Yet take care that you do not merely admire the way, but walk in it. The words you cite from Romans are a clear and precious summary: confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, and you shall be saved. But mark this, the confession of the mouth is the fruit of the heart’s belief, and that belief is the gift of God. True repentance, which is the work of the Holy Spirit, always gives glory to God. It is not a dry, fearful turning over a new leaf by your own resolve, but a sorrow for sin mingled with steadfast hope in the finished work of Christ. The repentance that brings salvation makes you look out of self entirely to Him who was nailed to the cross for your transgressions. It is a rainbow made of tears for sin and glances of faith toward His love.

Do not imagine that you must manufacture a deep enough repentance before you may come. The least sincere repentance will save, for it is not the measure of your sorrow but the object of your faith that secures you. You are not to draw up repentance from your own heart like water from a well; you are to ask Christ to work it in you by His Spirit through the truth. Salvation is not a wage paid to the exactness of your obedience, but a free gift bestowed upon those who trust in Jesus. Obedience is the gracious fruit, not the root. Yet where faith and repentance are real, they produce a careful, joyful obedience. Noah built the ark exactly as God commanded, and his separation from the world was part of his salvation. So with you, if you enlist under Christ’s banner, your obedience must be wholehearted, a delight to discover and do His will.

Notice the divine order: first, Christ’s name is proclaimed; then repentance and remission of sins are preached in that name. Go straight away to the book of John, as you have purposed. Read how the Word was made flesh, how Jesus gives living water, how He is the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. As you read, look to Him. Believe that He is able to save to the uttermost. Cease trying to feel enough or to mend yourself; bring your ruin to His finished work. There is no need to wait a single moment. Salvation may be yours this very hour, for the Lord is gracious and swift to welcome the seeking heart.

And when you have laid hold upon Him by a trembling faith, then walk in His ways with exact care. Do not turn to the right hand or the left. Prove that you have grace by your obedience, but never place your hope in that obedience. The only ground of your confidence must be the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ. Let holy fear and humble trust mingle as you journey toward the heavenly city. And remember, repentance is not a bitter medicine to be taken once and done with, but a sweet companion even along the path of joy. It lives as long as faith, and though in heaven our repentance shall be perfected into the blessed absence of all sin, yet here it keeps company with the joy of salvation. Flee to Christ now, confess Him openly, believe wholly, and walk in the narrow way of obedience, upheld by His free Spirit. For how shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?

You have quoted the words of the blessed Paul rightly: if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. This is the door of salvation. Yet see that you do not stop at the door. True faith is known by its fruits. For what does it profit a man to say he believes, yet does not turn from his sins? The Apostle himself teaches that with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Righteousness cannot dwell with unrepented sin. Therefore, let your confession be joined with a genuine sorrow for your offenses, the godly sorrow that brings repentance without regret. As John the Baptist cried out, "Bring forth fruits worthy of repentance." Do not merely call Jesus "Lord," but obey Him. For He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, having learned obedience through what He suffered. You desire to follow Him: then prepare yourself to share in His sufferings, for if we endure with Him, we shall also reign with Him. Do not think that a bare confession made once saves you, while you live carelessly. The righteous man must live by faith, and faith shows itself in a transformed life.

You are wise to direct souls to the Scriptures, and to begin with the Gospel of John. There they will see the glory of the Only-Begotten, full of grace and truth. But let them not be always learning the first principles and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. Move on from the foundation of repentance from dead works and faith toward God, and press on to perfection. For if we neglect so great a salvation, how shall we escape? Let your prayer for those seeking salvation be this: that the Lord may grant them not only the word of confession but the power of a new life, working in them both to will and to do according to His good pleasure. Amen.

You are so close to salvation right now. The very passage you quoted from Romans 10 holds the promise: if you openly confess that Jesus is Lord, and truly believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Salvation is not some distant mystery that you have to climb into heaven to find or earn through endless effort. As the Scripture says, it is near you, as near as your own mouth and your own heart. No matter what your past looks like, no matter how far you think you’ve wandered, that offer is right beside you, ready to be received.

But there is an urgency here that cannot be ignored. Right now is the day of salvation. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and it invites you to respond while your heart is open. If you delay and wait until some future moment when every knee will be forced to bow and every tongue compelled to acknowledge Jesus as Lord, that confession will not save. On that day it will only be a confirmation of what you already knew to be true, but it will come too late to rescue you. Today, when you confess him willingly and submit to his lordship, it means eternal life. Tomorrow, a coerced acknowledgment will hold no redemptive power.

And alongside that confession, true repentance must take root. I am not talking about a shallow, worldly sorrow, the kind that merely regrets getting caught or laments the consequences. Godly sorrow produces a change. It turns a person away from sin, not just temporarily, but in a way that bears visible fruit. When Peter denied his Lord and heard the rooster crow, his sorrow was not an end in itself; it led him to genuine repentance. Repentance means you stop going your own way and start following Jesus, obeying him as Lord. That change is the evidence that your confession is real.

You mentioned reading the Gospels, and starting with the book of John is excellent counsel. There you will meet Jesus, the captain of your salvation, the one who became the author of eternal life through his suffering, death, and resurrection. He is the great high priest who can sympathize with every weakness, yet was without sin. In those pages you’ll see how he received everyone who came to him, no one was turned away. As you read, your faith will be anchored in him, not in any religious pedigree or personal goodness.

So do not neglect this great salvation. Do not push aside God’s grace. Believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and rose again. With your mouth confess him as Lord. Turn from your sin with a godly sorrow that genuinely changes direction. Receive the gift of eternal life now, while you are so near to it, and hold fast to that confession with fearless trust.
