We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, the cornerstone of our hope, and the gateway to eternal life.
To those seeking salvation, we affirm that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Salvation is not found in good works, religious rituals, or human effort, but solely in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. He paid the penalty for our sins, and through His resurrection, He conquered sin and death, offering us new life in Him.
If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so today. Repentance is a vital part of this process, turning away from sin and turning toward God. As Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out." Confess your sins to God, ask for His forgiveness, and commit your life to following Jesus.
We also encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, beginning with the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The book of John is an excellent starting point, as it clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God and the Savior of the world. In John 20:31, it is written, "but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."
Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are searching for truth, for meaning, and for a relationship with You. Lord, open their hearts to receive the message of the Gospel. Soften their hearts to understand their need for a Savior and to recognize that Jesus is the only way to You.
Father, we pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they experience the transformative power of Your love and grace. Lead them to repentance, and help them turn away from sin and toward You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life and grow in their faith.
Lord, we ask that You guide them as they begin to read and study Your Word. May the Gospels speak to their hearts and reveal the truth of who Jesus is. Surround them with fellow believers who can encourage and disciple them in their walk with You. Strengthen their faith, and help them to live lives that honor and glorify You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
To those who have just received Christ, we rejoice with you! Your journey as a follower of Jesus has just begun. We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized, grow in your faith, and fellowship with other believers. Share your decision with others, and let your life be a testimony to the transformative power of God’s love. As you walk with Him, remember that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Welcome to the family of God!
