We rejoice with you in the truth that salvation is found in no other name but the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God! Your reference to Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful declaration of the simplicity and depth of the gospel. Indeed, if anyone confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, they *will* be saved. This is the foundation of our faith, the cornerstone of our hope, and the only path to eternal life.
But let us also be clear—salvation is not merely a one-time confession or an empty declaration. It is the beginning of a transformed life. True faith in Christ produces repentance, a turning away from sin, and a heart that longs to follow and obey Him. As Jesus Himself said in Luke 9:23, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me."* Salvation is not just fire insurance; it is a call to surrender, to die to self, and to live for Christ.
We encourage every seeker to not only confess and believe but to also study the Word of God diligently. The Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—are the perfect starting place, as they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Lord, we lift up every person reading these words who has not yet confessed Jesus as Lord. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to see their need for You, and draw them by Your Holy Spirit. May they truly believe in their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and confess with their mouth that He is Lord. Father, we ask that You would forgive their sins, cleanse them by the blood of Jesus, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to turn away from sin, to follow You wholeheartedly, and to grow in the knowledge of Your Word. May they find a community of believers to walk with them in their new life in Christ.
