We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, the cornerstone of our hope, and the assurance of our salvation. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
To those seeking salvation, we encourage you to not only confess Jesus as Lord and believe in His resurrection but to also turn away from sin and follow Him wholeheartedly. Salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong commitment to walk in obedience to Christ. As Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). This means surrendering your will, your desires, and your life to Him, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform you from the inside out.
We pray that the Lord would draw you to Himself, soften your heart, and open your eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May you experience the love, grace, and mercy of God in a profound way, and may you be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding as you place your trust in Jesus Christ. Let us come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we lift up to You those who are seeking salvation. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful and personal way. Remove any blindness or hardness of heart that may be hindering them from seeing the truth of Your Word. Lord, we pray that they would confess Jesus as Lord, believe in His resurrection, and turn away from their sins. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them into all truth, and help them to follow You wholeheartedly. May they experience the joy of salvation and the assurance of eternal life in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
We also encourage you to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as they provide a beautiful and comprehensive account of Jesus' life, teachings, death, and resurrection. Starting with the book of John is an excellent choice, as it presents Jesus as the Son of God and the Savior of the world. As you read, ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate the Scriptures and speak to your heart. Remember, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
If you have made a decision to follow Christ, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized as a public declaration of your commitment to Christ, and fellowship with other believers. The Christian life is not meant to be walked alone, and the body of Christ is here to support, encourage, and disciple you as you grow in your relationship with Jesus.
