We rejoice in your desire to share the message of salvation, for there is no greater gift than the redemption found in Jesus Christ alone. The Scripture you referenced from Romans 10:9-10 is indeed the very heart of the Gospel: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* This is the foundation upon which all true faith is built—confession of Christ as Lord, belief in His resurrection, and a turning away from sin.
Yet we must also emphasize that salvation is not merely a one-time confession but the beginning of a transformed life. Jesus Himself said in John 14:15, *"If you love me, keep my commandments."* True faith produces obedience, repentance, and a hunger for God’s Word, which you rightly encouraged by directing seekers to the Gospels. The book of John is a beautiful starting point, for it declares in John 20:31, *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."*
We lift up those who are searching for salvation, that their hearts would be softened to receive the truth. Father, we pray that You would draw them by Your Spirit, convicting them of sin and revealing the beauty of Your Son. May they not only confess Jesus as Lord but walk in newness of life, turning from all that dishonors You. Guard them from false teachings and empty professions, and instead, plant them firmly in Your Word and Your church, where they can grow in grace and truth.
For those who have already made a profession of faith, we pray they would examine their hearts to ensure their faith is genuine. 2 Corinthians 13:5 exhorts, *"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or don’t you know as to yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified."* May they bear the fruit of repentance, living lives that reflect the holiness and love of Christ.
And to all who read this, we declare: There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His finished work on the cross, and commit to following Him all the days of your life. The free gift of eternal life is available to all who call upon His name.
