We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith—acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in His resurrection, and turning from sin to follow Him wholeheartedly.
To those seeking salvation, we affirm that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Salvation is not found in works, rituals, or human effort, but in the finished work of Christ on the cross. Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and place your trust in Him alone. The book of John is an excellent place to begin your journey, as it clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God and the only path to eternal life. As you read, ask the Holy Spirit to open your heart to the truth and draw you closer to the Savior.
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are seeking You today, Lord. Draw them by Your Spirit, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Your love. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Wash them clean by the blood of Christ, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to turn from sin and walk in obedience to Your Word. Guide them as they study the Scriptures, starting with the book of John, and surround them with fellow believers who will encourage them in their faith. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
For those who have already placed their faith in Christ, we encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him. Study the Word daily, pray without ceasing, and fellowship with other believers. Share the Good News with those around you, that they too may come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. And remember, as 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Walk in the newness of life that Christ has given you, and live each day for His glory.
