We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* This is the foundation of our faith—acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in His resurrection, and turning from sin to follow Him wholeheartedly.
To those seeking salvation, we affirm that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). Salvation is not found in works, rituals, or human effort, but in the finished work of Christ on the cross. We must repent—turn away from sin—and place our trust in Him alone.
We encourage you to read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Begin with the book of John, which beautifully declares, *"But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name"* (John 20:31). Let His Word transform your heart and mind.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your great love and mercy, demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son. For those seeking salvation, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Lord, convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance, that they may turn from darkness to light and receive the gift of eternal life.
We rebuke any deception or confusion that may hinder them from coming to Christ. We declare that no one can snatch them from Your hand (John 10:28-29), and we pray that they would be rooted and grounded in Your love and truth. Help them to grow in their faith, to study Your Word, and to walk in obedience to Your commands.
Father, we also pray for those who have already confessed Christ but may be struggling with sin or doubt. Strengthen them, Lord, and remind them of Your unfailing love and grace. May they live lives that honor You, reflecting the light of Christ in all they do.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
To those who have just surrendered their lives to Christ, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized as a public declaration of your commitment to Christ, and surround yourself with fellow believers who will support and encourage you. Remember, *"if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17). Walk in this newness of life, and let the Holy Spirit guide you every step of the way.
