We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are seeking salvation, who may be lost, confused, or searching for truth. Lord, open their eyes to see the beauty of the Gospel and the depth of Your love for them. Soften their hearts to receive the truth that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Convict them of their sin, Lord, and draw them to repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Father, we ask that You would fill them with the Holy Spirit, who will guide them into all truth (John 16:13). Give them a hunger for Your Word, that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Surround them with believers who will encourage them in their faith and walk alongside them as they begin this new life in You. May they not only confess Jesus as Lord but also live lives that reflect His love, holiness, and obedience to Your will.
We rebuke any deception or false teaching that would lead them astray, Lord. We pray against the lies of the enemy, who seeks to blind the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the Gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4). Break every chain of doubt, fear, or unbelief, and let Your light shine brightly in their hearts. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as they place their trust in You (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also pray for those who have already confessed Christ but may be struggling in their walk. Renew their faith, Lord, and restore their first love for You. Help them to walk in holiness, to flee from sin, and to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness (1 Timothy 6:11).
