We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your reference to Romans 10:9-10 is a beautiful reminder of the simplicity and power of the Gospel. Indeed, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Lord, soften their hearts to receive the message of the Gospel, and let them understand the depth of Your love and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Father, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may turn from their sins and follow Jesus with all their hearts. Help them to study Your Word, starting with the Gospel of John, so that they may grow in their knowledge and love for You. We pray that they would walk in obedience to Your commands and live lives that honor and glorify You. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
To those seeking salvation, we encourage you to not only confess and believe but also to repent of your sins. Repentance is a turning away from sin and a turning toward God. It is a crucial part of the salvation experience. Jesus Himself said, "The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News" (Mark 1:15). True faith in Christ will produce a change in your life, a desire to follow Him, and a willingness to obey His commands.
We also encourage you to get connected with a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be discipled, and find fellowship with other believers. The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation but in community with other followers of Christ. As Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
Continue to study God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John will give you a clear picture of the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Start with the Gospel of John, as you mentioned, for it beautifully presents Jesus as the Son of God and the Savior of the world.
