As Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, *"for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."* Yet, true faith is evidenced by a transformed life—one that turns from sin and seeks to follow Christ in obedience. James 2:17 reminds us, *"Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself."*
To those seeking salvation, we encourage you to not only confess Jesus as Lord but to also repent of your sins, turning away from them and toward Him. Repentance is a vital part of the salvation process, as Acts 3:19 declares: *"Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out."* Jesus Himself began His ministry with the call to repentance: *"The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News"* (Mark 1:15).
We also affirm your encouragement to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—beginning with the book of John. John’s Gospel was written with a clear purpose: *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name"* (John 20:31). In John’s account, you will find the profound truth of who Jesus is, why He came, and how He offers eternal life to all who believe in Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
