We rejoice that you have shared the foundational truth of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ! Indeed, the Word of God is clear: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that the Lord Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* (Romans 10:9-10 WEB). This is the beautiful and simple truth—salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
We must emphasize that salvation is not merely about intellectual belief or empty words, but a transformation of the heart that leads to repentance and a life surrendered to Christ. Jesus Himself said, *"Unless you repent, you will all perish likewise."* (Luke 13:3 WEB). True faith produces a turning away from sin and a turning toward God, walking in obedience to His Word. As it is written, *"He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."* (John 3:36 WEB).
We encourage you and all who read this to not only confess Jesus as Lord but to follow Him wholeheartedly. Study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as you mentioned, for they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Begin in the book of John, which beautifully declares, *"But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."* (John 20:31 WEB). Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them to Yourself. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Father, grant them the gift of repentance, that they may turn from their sins and walk in newness of life.
For those who have already placed their faith in You, strengthen their walk. Help them to grow in the knowledge of Your Word, to obey Your commands, and to live lives that bring glory to Your name. Guard them from deception and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear fruit in every good work.
Lord, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to keep souls in bondage. We declare that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. May Your truth prevail in every heart, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
To those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we urge you: do not delay. The Bible warns, *"Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation."* (2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB). Today is the day to turn to Jesus, to confess your sins, and to receive His forgiveness and eternal life. There is no other way to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not done so, pray to God right now, confess your sins, ask for His forgiveness, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Then, seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be baptized as a public declaration of your new life in Christ.
