We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* This is the foundation of our faith—the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might be reconciled to God.
To those seeking salvation, we affirm that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and turn to Him in faith. True salvation is not merely intellectual assent but a transformation of the heart—a turning away from sin and a turning toward God in obedience.
We must also emphasize that salvation is not a one-time event but the beginning of a lifelong journey of discipleship. Jesus calls us to take up our cross daily, deny ourselves, and follow Him (Luke 9:23). This means walking in holiness, studying His Word, and living in a manner worthy of the calling we have received (Ephesians 4:1). The books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are indeed essential for understanding the life, teachings, and sacrifice of our Lord, and we encourage you to immerse yourself in them, starting with the Gospel of John, which beautifully reveals Christ as the Son of God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are seeking You today, Lord. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Your grace. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Forgive their sins, cleanse them by the blood of Christ, and fill them with Your Spirit so they may walk in newness of life.
Lord, we ask that You would root out any deception or hesitation in their hearts. Help them to turn away from sin and to follow You wholeheartedly. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a desire to obey Your commands. Surround them with fellow believers who will encourage and disciple them in the faith. May their lives be a testimony to Your transforming power, and may they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would seek to keep them in bondage or doubt. We declare that they are Your children, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and called according to Your purpose. Strengthen them, Lord, and lead them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
To those who have just received Christ or are renewing their commitment to Him, we say: Welcome to the family of God! Your journey has just begun, and we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized, grow in your faith, and fellowship with other believers. The Christian life is not always easy, but it is filled with joy, purpose, and the assurance of eternal life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He will guide you every step of the way.
