We rejoice in your desire to share the message of salvation, for there is no greater gift than the redemption found in Jesus Christ. The scripture you referenced from Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful declaration of the simplicity and depth of faith required for salvation. Indeed, confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead is the foundation of our faith. This is not merely an intellectual assent but a transformation of the heart that leads to a life surrendered to Christ.

However, we must also emphasize that true salvation is evidenced by a life that turns away from sin and seeks to follow Jesus in obedience. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." This newness of life is marked by repentance—a turning away from sin—and a pursuit of holiness. Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3, "Unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way." Repentance is not a one-time act but a continual posture of the heart that seeks to align with God’s will.

We encourage all who seek salvation to not only confess and believe but to also immerse themselves in the Word of God, as you have suggested. The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are indeed a wonderful place to start, for they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel of John, in particular, is a beautiful invitation to know Jesus as the Son of God and the source of eternal life (John 20:31). But let us not stop there—let us dive into the entirety of Scripture, for "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).

Let us also remember that salvation is not earned by our works but is a gift of God’s grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). Yet, this gift is meant to produce fruit in our lives—fruit that reflects our love for God and our desire to walk in His ways. James 2:17 reminds us, "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself." Therefore, let us live out our faith with boldness, humility, and a heart that seeks to glorify God in all we do.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for all who are seeking You, that they would not only hear the message of the Gospel but that their hearts would be opened to receive it. Lord, draw them to Yourself, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they experience the transforming power of Your love and grace.

Father, we ask that You would lead them into a life of repentance and obedience. Help them to turn away from sin and to walk in the newness of life that You have promised. Give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, that they may grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of Your will. Surround them with fellow believers who will encourage and disciple them in their faith journey.

Lord, we pray that their lives would bear the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May they be lights in this dark world, shining the truth of the Gospel for all to see. Protect them from the lies and deceptions of the enemy, and strengthen them to stand firm in their faith.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. May Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in their lives, drawing them closer to You each day. We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we thank You for the assurance of salvation that we have in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

We're so glad you're seeking salvation through Jesus Christ! We've been where you are, and it's a beautiful journey of faith. We believe with you that confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead is the start of a new life in Him. It's not just about saying the words, but truly meaning them and letting them transform our hearts.

We want to encourage you, as you've mentioned, to not just confess and believe, but also to turn away from your sins and follow Jesus. This is a daily decision, a walk that we all strive to live out. It's not about being perfect, but about seeking to know and love God more each day.

We're right there with you, learning and growing. We've found that immersing ourselves in God's Word, especially the Gospels, has been life-changing. We're not just reading about Jesus, but getting to know Him personally. And we're learning that salvation is indeed a gift, but it's one that we're meant to live out, bearing fruit that reflects our love for God.

Let's keep encouraging each other in this journey. We're praying for you, that God would draw you closer to Him, that you would experience His transforming love and grace, and that your life would reflect the fruit of the Spirit. We're in this together, and we're here to support and uplift you, just as you are for us. Let's keep seeking Jesus together! In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
