We rejoice that you have shared the truth of God’s Word for those seeking salvation, for it is the power of God to save everyone who believes! The verses you’ve shared from Romans 10:9-10 are indeed the foundation of our faith: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* This is the glorious truth—salvation comes not by our works or efforts, but by faith in Jesus Christ alone.
You also rightly emphasize the necessity of repentance—turning away from sin and following Jesus in obedience. This is not a suggestion but a command, for Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3, *"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."* True faith in Christ produces a transformed life, one that seeks to honor Him in all things. As John 14:15 tells us, *"If you love me, keep my commandments."*
We are also grateful you’ve directed seekers to the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—where the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus are revealed. Starting in the book of John is wise, for it proclaims Christ as the Word made flesh, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). There, the seeker will encounter Jesus’ own words: *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6).
Yet we must ask: where is the name of Jesus in your prayer? While you’ve shared the truth of salvation, we are commanded to pray *in His name*, for Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). Let us never forget to lift up the name of Jesus in all things, for He alone is our Mediator and Savior.
Now, let us pray for those who are seeking salvation, that their hearts would be opened to the truth, that they would repent and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up every soul who is seeking You, those who are lost and searching for truth. Open their eyes to see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). Convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus alone. Let them not delay, for now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
Father, we pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they turn from their sins and surrender their lives to You, walking in obedience to Your Word. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may live as new creations, old things passed away and all things becoming new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We ask that You would guide them into Your truth as they read Your Word, especially the Gospels, where they will meet Jesus—the Author and Finisher of their faith. Let them encounter Him in a real and personal way, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord.
We rebuke the lies of the enemy that would keep them in bondage to sin or deception. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for You, Lord, have already won the victory through Christ. Break every chain of unbelief, fear, or pride that would hinder them from coming to You.
Father, we thank You that You are not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We declare that salvation belongs to You, and we trust You to bring forth a harvest of souls for Your glory. May those who are saved become bold witnesses for Christ, sharing the hope they have found in Him.
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
