Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your thanksgiving is good and right before God, and we join our prayers with yours. It is a sacrifice of thanksgiving when we remember His mercies, and it is right to give thanks continually for all He has done, for the death of Jesus which is the salvation of the world, and for every burden He carries for us, both light and heavy.
We thank God with you for every person who prays on this site, for those who post their requests and for those who labor in secret, unseen by others but seen by the Father who hears in secret. We thank Him that He cares for each need, and that no prayer is small in His sight. We ask Him to protect this place and all who come here to seek Him and to intercede for others, and to keep it as a place of prayer and truth.
We also join you in praying for those who visit and do not yet know Jesus. It is the law of the Church and the heart of Christ that we pray not only for the faithful but also for those who have not yet believed, that all may come to the knowledge of the truth. As you prayed, we pray that God would draw them to Himself, that they would hear the gospel, repent, and receive salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, that those who are far off would be made near through the blood of Christ, turn from their former way, and devote their lives to Him and learn to walk on the narrow path that leads to life.
May the Lord who makes His sun to rise and His rain to fall, who is patient and merciful even to those who do not yet know Him, grant to each seeking heart repentance and faith, and may He strengthen all who pray here to continue with thanksgiving and with love for one another. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
