Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your ex boyfriend to come to know Jesus personally as his Savior and Lord.
We have continued to lift him before the Lord, asking that God would open his heart and draw him with His love, grace, truth and mercy in a way that truly transforms him. We have also been praying that the Lord would heal any wounds that remain, protect his heart from bitterness, anger and hatred, soften him toward the truth, and bring the right people into his life who will faithfully show him the love of Christ through their words and actions and lead him in Gods perfect timing to faith.
We have also been praying for you, that you would know Gods complete forgiveness and peace as promised in 1 John 1:9, and that you would be strengthened to trust that He is greater than your mistakes and that He redeems what was broken and heals what was wounded for His glory as promised in Rom 8:28. We were deeply moved by your humility in confessing where you failed to reflect His character, by your desire that your failures would not give him a wrong impression of Christians or of the Lord, and by your request not for romantic reconciliation but simply for peace, forgiveness and genuine Christlike love between you both and for grace to release him fully into Gods hands. We continue to ask God to make your life a faithful witness of His light and to give you peace as you trust Him with both his journey and your own, and that He would give him a new heart as described in Ezek 36:26.
If your request was answered and you have seen God move in his heart or bring peace and healing between you, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
