Your prayer reflects a sincere desire to live in a way that honors the Lord, and I thank God for that hunger in you. The goal you quoted from 1 Timothy 1:5 is exactly right, that all sound teaching should lead to love from a pure heart and a sincere faith and a good conscience. That is the fruit God wants to see.
You also expressed the heart to worship in spirit and truth and to come freely to the throne of grace for mercy and help, and to stay connected to Jesus as a branch to the vine. That is the right place to begin. Before we are ever told to walk, Scripture first shows us what God has already done for us in Christ, how He has blessed us, forgiven us, and made us His children. We learn to rest in what He has provided, and then we are called to live in a way that fits that calling.
That walk is described in several ways. We are called to walk worthy of the Lord and worthy of our calling as His children, which means walking with lowliness and meekness and patience, bearing with one another in love and making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in peace. We are called to walk in love as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us, to walk as children of light and no longer as those who walk in darkness and vanity of mind, and to walk carefully and wisely, making good use of the time because the days are difficult.
Part of that walk involves daily choices in the face of temptation. Temptation itself is common to all of us and is not sin. Even Jesus was tempted. Sin comes when we yield to the desire of the flesh and take the shortcut that promises immediate fulfillment instead of staying on the path God has set. Each temptation invites us to decide whether we will react according to the flesh or respond according to the Spirit. When our faith is tested in this way, God uses it to develop patience in us, which we so often need as we learn to wait on Him. To walk in the Spirit is to walk in fellowship with God, choosing His way so that the flesh does not rule over us, and allowing our actions to come into harmony with what we say we believe.
I join you in praying that the Lord will give you wisdom and revelation to know Him more deeply and to understand His Word accurately from beginning to end, that you may know the breadth and depth of Christ's love and know His will with clarity. I pray that you will walk worthy of Him, pleasing Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with His power for endurance and joy. May He give you grace and discipline for study, wisdom for planning and for daily tasks, and grace to care faithfully for the responsibilities He has entrusted to you.
I also pray for the protections you asked for, that He would keep you from temptation and evil, from stumbling blocks and from every form of deception and fear, and keep your devotion to Christ simple and pure. May He grant you nearness as you draw near to Him, renewal of first love, fellowship with Him and with His people, and joy in seeing repentance and forgiveness proclaimed and sinners restored. We come to Him with confidence only through Jesus Christ, the one mediator between God and man, our merciful and sympathetic high priest who lives forever to make intercession for us, and it is in His name we ask for abundant mercy and grace for every need.
