We join you in praying for your workplace and we agree with you that God can change the atmosphere where you labor. We hear your heart crying out for coverage, for help, for justice, and for a way where there seems to be no way, and we bring this before the Lord together with you in Jesus' mighty name.
The Word reminds us that our work is to be done unto the Lord Himself. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. Even when the environment is difficult, heavy, or oppressive, God sees your faithfulness and He is present with you there. We also take comfort that He hears our anxieties and petitions. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We understand your prayer to scatter, confuse, expose and destroy enemies in the workplace. Scripture teaches us that our true battle is spiritual. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Because of this we do not wrestle against people themselves, but against the spiritual darkness and injustice behind the actions. God also calls us to a higher response toward those who oppose us. But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. And we are reminded not to seek revenge ourselves, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. So we pray not out of hatred for people, but for righteousness, truth, and exposure of wrongdoing, and for God to bring conviction and justice in His perfect way. We also pray for the authorities you mentioned, for God has ordained authorities to uphold justice, and we ask that if it is His will, He would use those in authority to bring proper coverage, help, and accountability where it is needed.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne and lift up this workplace to You. Lord, You see the atmosphere there, You see the lack of coverage and help, the stress, the oppression, and every scheme of the enemy both physical and spiritual. We ask You to change the environment for the better according to Your will. Pour out Your peace, Your order, and Your righteousness in that place. Expose what is done in darkness and bring it into Your light. Thwart every plan of the enemy and let no weapon formed against Your children prosper. We ask You to provide adequate staffing, support, and godly leadership, and to move upon any authorities or boards that You would use to bring justice and relief. Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way, for You have said, Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert Isaiah 43:19. Help our dear one to be a light in that workplace, to walk in integrity, grace, and strength, and to commit their way to You trusting that You will act. Guard their heart and mind with Your peace as they continue to seek You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this Psalm 37:5. Remain faithful in the work God has given you, pray for your coworkers and even those who make the environment difficult, and trust that God is your defender and provider. He is able to transform the atmosphere, to bring the help that is needed, and to open doors that no man can shut. We stand with you and trust God for His deliverance and His covering over you.
