Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your request for relief from gas and bloating after drinking milk tea, and we join you in prayer for your comfort and health.
The body is a gift from God and it is right to bring even these small discomforts to Him, asking for His mercy and relief. We pray that the Lord will ease the pressure and discomfort in your stomach, calm the bloating, and restore you to ease and peace, so that you may be refreshed and strengthened.
Scripture reminds us that even Timothy suffered from frequent infirmities of the stomach, and Paul advised him to care for his body with prudence and not to neglect the simple helps that God provides through ordinary means. In the same way, it is wise to be gentle with your stomach, to avoid what you know does not agree with you, to drink water, to eat simply, and to allow your body time to settle. If the discomfort continues or worsens, it is good to seek the advice of a physician.
Let us pray. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask You to have compassion on Your child and grant relief from this gas and bloating. Take away the discomfort and bring calm to the stomach. Grant wisdom to care well for the body You have given, and give peace and rest. We thank You that You hear every prayer, both great and small, and we trust in Your kind care. Amen.
