For Salvation Of A Loved One

This guy fell in love with me. At first, I did not accept. I told him about God's will and all for which he said he also knows God has a plan for everyone's life. Gradually, I too fell for him, ONLY DUE TO SYMPATHY because a girl had already cheated him. He was happy after I accepted but after some days he broke up with me for no reason at all. The reason he gives is that he's not suitable for me. I was totally heartbroken. Recently I came to know that he's severely addicted to drugs and leading a sinful life. I'm grieved in heart. All I want is for him to change his ways and become intimate with Jesus.

Sir/Mam Please pray and also give me counsel regarding this.

The Word of the Lord says:

Proverbs 14

7 Stay away from a foolish man,
for you will not find knowledge on his lips.

8 The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways,
but the folly of fools is deception.
9 Fools mock at making amends for sin,
but goodwill is found among the upright.
10 Each heart knows its own bitterness,
and no one else can share its joy.
11 The house of the wicked will be destroyed,
but the tent of the upright will flourish.
12 There is a way that seems right to a man,
but in the end it leads to death."

You say you have been involved with this young man out of sympathy, and that he is currently in a sinful lifestyle. Then this is not the man that can make you happy. Stay away from him. We can pray for his salvation, but it is up to him to choose personally the Lord as his Savior. He is free to choose or not to choose.

Lord, I pray for ### that she would stay away from men who would bring her life in destructive paths. I pray she would choose You and would be led to the best future husband that You have for her and would decide to live a godly life that is pleasing to You. In Jesus Name. amen

Lord, I also pray for this young man that he would find Your salvation and would run into Christian brothers and sisters who would witness to him and may he eventually be brought to repentance. In Jesus Name. amen
