We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this journey to Dibrugarh for medical purposes. Heavenly Father, we ask for Your divine protection over every mile of this trip. You are the God who commands angels concerning us, and we trust in Your promise in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Cover this family with Your hedge of protection as they travel, especially in this rainy season where roads may be slippery and visibility poor.
Lord, we pray for Daniel as he drives. Grant him strength, alertness, and wisdom behind the wheel. May Your Spirit refresh him, keeping fatigue far from him, as You promise in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Let Your peace reign in the vehicle, calming any anxieties and filling their hearts with joy.
Father, we ask that these five days pass smoothly and swiftly. Let the homestay be a place of rest, comfort, and unity for this family. May boredom not take root, especially for little Irene. Fill her days with laughter, the joy of her toys, and the delight of wholesome entertainment. Give her parents and caregivers creativity and patience to engage her heart and mind, reflecting Your love in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
We also lift up Helena’s aim and purpose in this journey. Lord, we pray for success in her medical endeavors, whatever they may be. May Your will be done in her life, and may she find strength and hope in You. Remind her of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We rebuke any spirit of fear, distraction, or weariness that may try to hinder this family. Instead, we declare Your peace, Your protection, and Your provision over them. May they feel Your presence with them every step of the way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this family. We trust in Your goodness and mercy to guide them safely to their destination and back. May this journey not only meet their physical needs but also draw them closer to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
