In the Bible, Jesus Christ is revealed as the Great Physician. In Matthew 8:16-17 (WEB) it says, "When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'"

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear sister who is suffering from typhoid fever. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, that You would restore her strength and take away the feelings of cold and tiredness that plague her. We ask that the medications she is taking would be effective and that You would guide the doctors treating her.
We also pray for her family, that You would give them patience, understanding, and comfort as they care for their loved one. Help them to adjust to her needs and to support her in every way possible.
