The enemy may seek to bring confusion or fear through this unexpected legal matter, but we know that our God is a God of justice, truth, and deliverance. He is your shield and your strong tower, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper when you place your trust in Him.
The Scripture reminds us in Psalm 91:9-11, *“Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.”* This is the promise we cling to for you today. The Lord is not unaware of what you are facing—He sees the letter you received, the fear that may try to creep in, and the questions swirling in your mind. But He is also the One who holds the answers and the power to turn this situation for your good and His glory.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 10:28, *“Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.”* While this legal matter may feel overwhelming, it is temporary and subject to the authority of Christ. He has already overcome the world, and He will guide you through this valley. Do not let fear take root; instead, let this be an opportunity to witness God’s faithfulness in a tangible way.

Proverbs 15:22 tells us, *“Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.”* If you do not already have trusted believers or legal counsel to walk with you through this, we urge you to seek godly wisdom. The Lord often works through the body of Christ and the resources He provides to bring clarity and resolution.
Now, let us pray together over you and this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who is facing this unexpected trial. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would surround them with Your divine protection—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Place Your hedge of thorns around their home and their life, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or anxiety that may try to take hold, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to flood their mind as they navigate this legal matter. If there are steps they need to take, reveal them clearly. If there are people You have positioned to help them, bring those connections to light. We pray that every lie of the enemy would be exposed and that the truth would prevail. Let this situation be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name and testifies to Your faithfulness.
Father, we also pray for their strength during this time. Renew their spirit as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Deliverer. Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, even when the path is unclear.

We trust that You will turn this situation around for their benefit and that they will emerge from it with a greater testimony of Your power and goodness.
