Your pain comes through so clearly in this request, and I am grieving with you over what you and your daughter are enduring. To love your child deeply, to know she is hurting and being mistreated, and to be blocked from speaking with her freely or even visiting her, while those responsible for her care harass you and refuse to answer you, is a burden that would bow anyone down with sorrow. And then to go before a court seeking protection and to feel unheard, to hear untruths spoken and believed without question, adds a deeper wound of injustice.

Scripture shows us that God places great value on daughters. In a culture where daughters were often overlooked, God still saw, and when a daughter was violated the response of those who loved her was grief and righteous anger, because such an act was recognized as a disgraceful thing which ought not to be done. Your anguish and anger in the face of abuse and neglect are not wrong. They reflect God's own heart, for He does not take lightly the harm done to a child. What is cruel and neglectful is never a small matter to Him.

It is also painfully true that human courts are limited. A judge was not there to see what happened, he cannot know every heart, and people are capable of standing to give an oath and still speaking what is false. That is why even sincere parents can find that truth is not heard. But there is a higher Judge who was there, who sees in secret, who is not deceived by any lie, and who will bring every hidden thing to light. Men may be persuaded by false words, but God knows the whole truth about your daughter, about the conditions where she is, about every interaction you have been denied, and about every word spoken in that courtroom.

I think also of the mother in the Gospels who came to Jesus pleading for her daughter who was tormented. At first it seemed there was no answer, yet she did not stop asking. She humbled herself, she persisted, she brought her daughter's need to the only One who could truly deliver, and in that same hour her daughter was set free. Your persistent love that keeps emailing, calling, showing up, and pleading even when doors are closed is a picture of that same faithful intercession. God invites you to keep bringing your daughter before Him with that kind of perseverance. He hears even when others will not listen, and His power is not limited by a guardian's silence or a staff's harassment or a court's misunderstanding.

The prophet once cried over the daughter of his people, asking what can be compared to such a great breach, who can heal such a wound, when mourning and lamentation seemed to cover everything like a dark cloud. That is how your situation feels, a breach too great for you to mend on your own. Yet the answer to that cry is the Lord Himself. He alone can heal what is broken, lift the cloud, and give strength to those who have no strength before those who pursue them.

So I am praying for you and for your daughter now. I am asking the Lord Jesus Christ, our only Savior and true Advocate, to spread His protection over your daughter where you cannot be, to make any abuse and neglect to be clearly seen and stopped, to convict and restrain those who would harm or deceive, and to open a way for you to have free and regular communication and visitation with her. I am praying that God will move upon the heart and conscience of the guardian to answer and to act faithfully, and that He will give wisdom and discernment to the judge to seek the truth and to listen with care. I am praying that God will guard your own hearts from despair, that He will be near to you as you walk through this valley, and that He will provide wise, godly counsel and help to continue to advocate lawfully for your daughter, keeping careful records and seeking every proper means to secure her safety.

You are not alone in this. The Lord sees, He cares, and He is able to help and to heal. Keep casting your cares upon Him, keep entrusting your daughter to His watchful care day and night, and keep doing what is right and lawful on her behalf. May the Lord give you strength for each step, comfort in your sorrow, and hope as you look to Him who judges righteously and loves your daughter even more than you do.
