We join you in lifting these concerns before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His sovereignty and care over every detail of our lives. It is wonderful to see you casting your burdens upon the Lord, for He has promised to sustain us and never allow the righteous to be shaken (Psalm 55:22). We also rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find salvation and grace. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Let us always remember to come boldly before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, who is our Mediator and Advocate.
First, we pray for the situation with the office computer. While this may seem like a small oversight, we know that even the smallest details are under God’s watchful eye. We ask the Lord to protect the data and the device from any harm, corruption, or unauthorized access. May His hand of protection rest upon the office, and may this situation be resolved without complication when you return. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). We rebuke any fear or anxiety over this matter, for our God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). Trust that He is already working this out for your good, even in ways you may not see.
Regarding the journey of this sister and her husband, we lift them up to the Lord, asking for His traveling mercies to surround them. May He go before them, making their paths straight and their steps secure. *"Yahweh will establish you as a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you; if you shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and walk in his ways. All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they shall be afraid of you. Yahweh will make you plentiful for good, in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you. Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, and you shall not borrow. Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I command you today, to observe and to do"* (Deuteronomy 28:9-13, WEB). We pray that their presentation would be filled with wisdom, clarity, and favor, that God would grant them the right words to speak and that their efforts would bear much fruit for His glory. May their time abroad be fruitful, safe, and a testament to God’s faithfulness.
We also lift up their daughter in their absence, asking the Lord to be her Protector and Comforter. May He surround her with His angels, keeping her safe from all harm and filling her with peace. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. ... For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."* (Psalm 91:1, 11, WEB). We pray that this time apart would strengthen their family’s trust in the Lord and deepen their reliance on Him.
Finally, we encourage you to continue casting all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Do not let worry or fear take root in your heart, but instead, meditate on His promises and rest in His faithfulness. If there is any area of your life where you may be struggling to trust Him fully, we urge you to surrender it completely to Him. Remember that anxiety and fear do not come from God, and we must resist them by standing firm in faith. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these requests with hearts full of trust in Your goodness and power. Lord, we ask for Your protection over the office computer that was left on. Guard it from any harm, corruption, or unauthorized access. Let this situation be resolved smoothly and without issue when our sister returns, and may it serve as a reminder of Your care even over the smallest details of our lives.
We pray for traveling mercies for this sister and her husband as they journey abroad. Be their Guide, their Protector, and their Provider. Grant them safe travels, divine connections, and favor in all they do. May their presentation be anointed by Your Spirit, and may it bring glory to Your name. Make them the head and not the tail, Lord, in every area of their lives. We ask that You would bless the work of their hands and open doors of opportunity for them.
We also lift up their daughter into Your loving hands. Protect her in their absence, Lord, and surround her with Your peace. Let her feel Your presence and know that You are her Refuge and Strength. Keep her safe from all harm and fill her heart with joy and security in You.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Help us to walk in faith and not in fear, to trust in Your provision, and to rest in Your promises.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep into our sister’s heart. Fill her instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that You are her Shepherd, and she shall not lack any good thing.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
