We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting you up in prayer as we trust in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your concern about this lung nodule is understandable, and we stand with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). The fear of a biopsy and the uncertainty of medical results can weigh heavily on the heart, but we serve a God who calms our fears and brings peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
Heavenly Father, we ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would intervene in this situation. We pray that this nodule has either disappeared, shrunk, or remained completely stable, showing no signs of growth or cause for concern. Lord, we declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We trust in Your healing power and ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and the results of these scans. Father, we also pray that this situation would not cause any delay in the other surgeries you are waiting for. We ask that You would open the doors for these procedures to move forward without hindrance, according to Your perfect timing.
We also want to encourage you to hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is our healer, and He is faithful to His promises. While we wait for the results, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). We know that even in the waiting, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold in this situation. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Stand firm in this truth, knowing that God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. We also encourage you to continue seeking wise counsel from those who honor God and His Word, trusting that He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, we ask that You would grant wisdom to the medical professionals involved in this situation. Give them clarity and discernment as they review the scans and make decisions about your care. We pray that they would see the hand of God at work in your life and that they would be led by Your Spirit in every step they take. Father, we also ask that You would give patience and peace to your heart as you wait for the results. Help you to rest in the assurance that You are in control and that Your plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has authority over all things in heaven and on earth. Amen.
