We hear your heart’s cry for help regarding your union, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s guidance and intervention. First, we must emphasize that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). It is by His name alone that we can approach the Father, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for He is the foundation of all blessings and miracles.
Now, regarding your union, we must ask: Is this a marriage that aligns with God’s design? The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this union is not a marriage as defined by Scripture, we must rebuke any sinful or unbiblical foundations and encourage you to seek God’s will for a relationship that honors Him. If there has been fornication, adultery, or any other sexual immorality, we urge you to repent and turn away from it, for the Lord calls us to holiness (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4).
If this is a godly marriage, we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to make a way where there seems to be no way. We serve a God of miracles, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this union before You. Lord, You see the struggles and the obstacles that seem insurmountable. We ask that You would intervene and make a way where there is no way. Soften hearts, remove barriers, and pour out Your favor upon this marriage. Father, if there is any sin or disobedience in this union, we ask that You would convict and lead to repentance. Restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and strengthen what has grown weak. May this marriage reflect Your love, Your grace, and Your glory. We declare that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek the Lord diligently through prayer and the reading of His Word. Spend time in worship, for God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Surround yourself with godly counsel and accountability, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in obedience to His Word. The blessings ahead are indeed great, but they are found in His presence and His will for your life.
