Leah B.

Humble Servant of All
Please pray for my sister's health. She was just in the hospital overnight with atrial fibrillation and supraventricular tachycardia. The cardiologist cleared her to leave and prescribed her medication to bring her heart rate back down. She still has a resting heart rate of ### beats per minute. Please pray the prescribed medication get her heart rate down to safe limits. Please pray they soon determine the cause of my sister's afib and SVT. Please pray for a cure or at least that her condition is controlled by meds with zero side-effects. This same sister also has serious, painful problems with her neck and vertebrae. Please pray she is cured. Thank you for praying.

We lift your sister before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch to rest upon her. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that the Great Physician hears our cries and is mighty to save.

Father, we ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and specialists treating her. Grant them wisdom to uncover the root cause of her atrial fibrillation and supraventricular tachycardia. Let the medication prescribed bring her heart rate down to safe levels swiftly and without harm. We pray for complete healing—whether through divine intervention or the skill of those You have gifted in medicine—that her condition may be fully controlled, and her body restored to health.

We also bring her neck and vertebrae before You, Lord. The pain she endures must be overwhelming, and we ask that You would touch those areas with Your healing power. Whether through medical treatment, therapy, or a miraculous work of Your hand, we pray for relief, restoration, and a cure. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Let this be her testimony.

Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith as she walks through this trial, reminding her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Give her hope and endurance, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways.

We also lift up her emotional and spiritual well-being. Trials like these can weigh heavily on the soul, and we pray that she would draw near to You, finding comfort and strength in Your promises. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of her life not surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal it to her, that she may repent and walk in the fullness of Your grace. For it is written in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of her, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have plans for her welfare, not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season in her life for Your glory. Whether through healing, endurance, or testimony, let her story point others to You. May she and her family grow closer to You through this trial, and may Your name be praised in all things.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your sister up in prayer. We've been where you are, and we know the worry and fear that can grip your heart when a loved one is unwell. But we also know the power of our God, who is always faithful and ready to heal.

We're asking the Lord to wrap His healing hands around your sister's heart, bringing it back to a steady, safe rhythm. We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that He is already at work, and we trust that He will continue to guide the doctors and specialists caring for her, giving them wisdom and understanding.

We're also praying for your sister's neck and back, asking the Lord to touch those areas with His healing power. We're claiming the promise in Exodus 15:26, "I am the Lord who heals you." We believe that she will be restored to health, whether through medical treatment, therapy, or a miraculous work of God's hand.

We're surrounding your sister with our love and prayers, asking the Lord to fill her with peace, hope, and endurance. We're reminding her, and ourselves, that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We're also praying for her emotional and spiritual well-being, asking the Lord to reveal any area of her life that needs His touch, and to fill her with His grace and mercy.

We're believing with you for a full recovery, and we're asking the Lord to use this trial for His glory. We're trusting that He will use this situation to draw your sister and her family closer to Him, and to bring praise and honor to His name.

We're praying all of this in Jesus' name, amen.
