For My Friends And/or Good Acquaintances

Good morning, people. Please pray I find a good husband and that I make more friends. Many of the people listed here are more like good acquaintances who live in my building. It is very hard for me to meet people due to my situation. Also, if you don't mind, please pray again that I do not get bedbugs in my apartment. Now back to the main prayer: Please pray for the needs and intentions of all my friends and family, especially my friend ### (obesity, low-low metabolism, diabetes, depression, problems on her left side from a stroke, stress fractures of her feet -- also pray she continues to lose weight), my mom -- emphysema and chronic pain), my dad (76 years old and still must work), ### (severe memory problems and problems with logic and cognition), ### (struggling to learn to read and write English), ### (back and hip problems), ### (diabetes and prostate cancer), ### (COPD and reflux issues), ### (that he keeps his new job), ### (lost her job), ### (always struggling to lose weight), ### (bad knees and facing homelessness and heavily addicted to cigarettes), ### (always in pain), the loved ones of ### (### just died), my brother-in-law's dad (prostate cancer), ###, my sister's dog (that she stays happy and healthy and lives a long, long time), ### and his wife (for their continued health and happiness), ### (leukemia), ### (severe depression, advanced diabetes and more), ### (very lonely and depressed), my "aunt" ### (newly divorced and with health problems, especially with bad joints) my three beautiful nephews and my niece). Please also pray for financial blessings for my sister ### and her family and pray she is able to send both her sons to parochial schools. Also, please pray I drive again. It has been over 20 years since I last drove. I can't afford a car or to maintain one plus I was always scared to drive, but now I am mega-scared. Thank you. God bless.

Prayer for the husband:

Abba Father, I thank You that you love your dear sister and that You have an awesome plan for her life! You have plans to give her the future that she hopes for. As I lift up to you her desire for a godly spouse, continue to conform the desires of her heart to Your heart’s desires. Cause her to delight in You more than any other thing. Prepare her also to be the godly wife, that she will be a rare jewel of a blessing to her future mate. Raise her up to be a Proverbs 31 woman who lives in the fear of You (Proverbs 31:30). Preserve our sister for her future mate and guard her heart. (Song of Solomon 2:7, 8:9).

I thank You God that even as You are preparing our sister, You are also raising up for her a man who loves Jesus with all his heart, mind, soul and strength — a man after Your very heart (Matthew 22:37). Raise him up in Your Word, let him be meditating on Your precepts day and night, and bring him success in all he does (Psalm 1, Joshua 1). Bless him and fill him with the knowledge of Your love (Philippians 1:9) and Holy Spirit. May he always abound in joy and in the fruits of the Spirit (Romans 15:13). Keep his eyes and his ways pure. I pray that he will make a covenant to guard his eyes and heart (Job 31:1)!

We know that the Lord will answer your prayers for a husband because He says he who finds a wife finds a good thing! Be blessed and stay patient.

Regarding the healing of the friends, family, dog Bella and your anxiety over driving:

You know my dear sister’s friends/family members so much better than I do. You know the sicknesses and the burdens they carry. You also know my sister’s heart. Lord, I ask you to be with my friend now as you work in her life. Lord, let your will be done in my sister’s life. If there is a sin that needs to be confessed and forgiven, please help her to see her need and confess. Lord, I pray for my sister just as your Word tells me to pray, for healing. I believe you hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you, Lord, to heal my sister of her anxiety but I also trust in the plan you have for her life and those of her friends, family and pets. Lord, I don't always understand your ways. I don't know why my sister has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward my friend and her family that she has named here. Nourish their spirits and souls in this time of suffering and comfort them with your presence.

Let my sister know you are there with her through this difficulty. Give her strength. And may You, through these difficulties, be glorified in her life and also in mine. Amen.
