For my Friend

I have a friend from Church named Buddy. He has been going through several years now of fighting through the pain of misdiagnosed problems. The current name they have on his condition is Lexy Body Dementia which is a cross between Alzhiemers and Parkinsons. He has symptoms from both diseases.

Buddy was my mentor in reading the entire Bible for the first time and I am at a loss on passages to pull that I may read to him for encouragement. He knows his condition is terminal, but we are all praying for God's intercession at some sort of breakthrough or at the very least comfort for him and his family during this time.

I would like if any of you can pray for my friend Buddy and his family. Thank you and God bless.

Lord, I pray you will pour your love over Buddy & his family & dear friends. I pray you will strengthen his spirits, so that everyone may feel your grace through him. I pray, Lord, that you will reveal to coachcisco just the right scriptures that will bring Buddy encouragement & joy. I pray you will bless them with time to rejoice in your word together & that you will give coachcisco the wisdom & confidence to "give back" to his bible mentor. Thank you Father, for interceding through Buddy's condition. I pray that he does not have to endure any pain or suffering. Fill his room with angels & love. Amen

Father God, first I thank You for coachcisco and his loving outreach for his mentor. You have truly placed a kind and gentle spirit within him, and Your love is reflected in his care for his friend. Please be with Buddy during this journey in life. He believes in the eternal goodness of Your love, and I pray that Your healing and comfort would be upon him. God, I know that You offer many kinds of healing. Please keep Buddy close to Your side - if physical healing is Your plan, we will praise You and proclaim Your miracles. If this cup shall not pass, and it is time for Buddy to join You in the heavenly realms, we will rejoice at his victory and release. You are so merciful and loving and we trust in Your plan. We place Buddy in Your arms and pray for his sustenance, comfort, healing and strength. I ask these things in the name of Jesus, knowing He has redeemed us unto You. Amen.
