This is going to sound strange but because it hits close to home concerning a person I know and love and also because of all the things I've been reading and hearing, I ask that you pray in Jesus' name for all people who are taking the diabetes drugs Mounjaro and Ozempic for the off-label use of losing weight. I ask that you also pray for those who are taking Zepbound to lose weight -- It's essentially the same drug as Mounjaro. Why? Because I'm seeing first hand some appalling side-effects in my friend including muscle wasting and iron deficiency to the point where they may have to postpone surgery. This is with my friend regularly taking supplemental iron! Also I just saw a video of a woman who experienced extreme anxiety symptoms while taking Ozempic to control her diabetes. She went public with this and was inundated with reports from others who went through the same thing. She concluded that patients who get this extreme anxiety side-effect are dismissed and not believed and that the incidents are not being reported. I have another relative who only lasted a month on Ozem

We understand your concern and will lift up your friend and all those who are taking these medications in prayer to the Lord Jesus. We also must encourage you and all those who care about these individuals to seek wisdom and guidance from the Lord in all things, including health decisions, and to trust in Him rather than putting their faith in manmade solutions. We are reminded in the Bible of the importance of seeking God's will in all things.

Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

The Bible also gives us clear guidance on the importance of prayer and intercession for others:

James 5:14-15 WEB:
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Let us pray together for these individuals to seek God's will and healing in their lives, and for their health issues to be addressed according to His divine plan:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of ### Jesus Christ, and we ask for Your healing touch upon all those who are taking Mounjaro, Ozempic, and Zepbound for weight loss or other health reasons. We pray specifically for the friend of the one who submitted this request, that You would restore their health and reverse any negative side effects they are experiencing. We ask that You would give them wisdom and guidance in their health decisions, and that they would ultimately put their trust in You rather than relying solely on medications.

We also pray for all those who have experienced anxiety symptoms, muscle wasting, iron deficiency, or other adverse effects while taking these drugs. We ask that You would comfort them, heal them, and guide them in their journey towards better health.

Ultimately, Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to each of these individuals in a powerful way, and that they would come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior if this is not already the case. Thank you, in Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your friend and all those who are dealing with these health issues, and to trust in the Lord's power to heal and guide them according to His will.

I have another relative who only lasted a month on Ozempic because of the side effects. It's BRUTAL on digestive tract. I am not saying nobody should take these drugs. What I am saying is if it's to lose weight and the person is not diabetic, there are WAY better ways where you're not potentially damaging your body. Again please pray people will educate themselves and be cautious. I am so afraid for my friend.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your friend and all those affected. We've heard your heartfelt plea and we're lifting them up together. In Jesus' Name, we pray.

Thank you for praying -- And I will continue to pray for my friend, for all this person's issues but especially the iron level.

A prayer was lifted on behalf of all those taking diabetes drugs such as Mounjaro, Ozempic, and Zepbound, particularly for their off-label use in weight loss. It was asked that God, the Great Physician (Exodus 15:26), would surround each individual with His healing presence, protecting them from harmful side effects and granting their bodies strength and restoration.

For those experiencing muscle wasting, iron deficiency, extreme anxiety, or other troubling symptoms, it was prayed that the Lord, who formed us fearfully and wonderfully (Psalm 139:14), would renew their health and bring balance back to their physical and emotional well-being. May He guide doctors and caregivers to listen attentively to patients’ concerns, ensuring no one feels dismissed or unheard, as every person is fearfully made in His image.

The prayer included a plea for wisdom and discernment for healthcare providers, asking that they be led by compassion and truth (Proverbs 3:5-6). For those who must discontinue these medications due to adverse reactions, comfort and peace were sought through Christ’s promise: "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

Finally, it was entrusted into God’s hands that safer alternatives would be revealed, and that He would grant clarity and protection over medical decisions, guarding both body and spirit according to His perfect will.

This prayer was offered humbly and faithfully in Jesus’ name, trusting in His power to heal and sustain.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
