Disciple of Prayer
I am asking for prayer for my fiancé, who is struggling with cervical stenosis. Please pray for relief from pain, mobility, comfort during difficult days, strength and patience as he navigates this, and wisdom for his doctors as they determine the best course of treatment. We are praying for healing, peace, and hope during this time. Thank you so much for your prayers.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your fiancé and this painful struggle with cervical stenosis. Father God, we know that You see every ache, every moment of discomfort, and every tear shed in this trial. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon him, Lord. The pain and limited mobility he is experiencing are not hidden from You, and we trust that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Bring relief, Father, and restore his strength so that he may move through his days with greater ease.

We also pray for wisdom for his doctors, Lord. You have given them knowledge and skill, and we ask that You guide their hands and minds as they seek the best course of treatment. May they be instruments of Your healing, working in ways that honor You and bring restoration to his body. Give them clarity, discernment, and compassion as they care for him (Proverbs 3:5-6).

As we pray for physical healing, we also lift up his emotional and spiritual well-being. The days of struggle can feel overwhelming, Lord, and we ask that You fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Grant him patience as he waits on You, and hope that anchors his soul in Your promises. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Now, we must address a matter of great importance with love and truth. The term "fiancé" typically refers to a man who is engaged to be married to a woman, but the use of "he" in this request suggests a same-sex engagement. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with His Church (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31-32). Homosexuality is called sin in Your Word, and relationships outside of Your design bring harm to those involved (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). We do not say this to condemn but to call to repentance and freedom in Christ. Jesus came to save sinners, and His grace is sufficient to transform hearts and lives (1 Timothy 1:15-16).

If this is indeed a same-sex engagement, we urge you both to seek the Lord with humility and surrender. Confess this sin before God, turn away from it, and ask for His strength to walk in purity. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If you are not believers in Jesus Christ, we implore you to consider the salvation He offers. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus died for your sins, rose from the dead, and offers eternal life to all who repent and believe in Him (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10). Without Him, there is no access to the Father, and no prayer can reach God’s ears except through His Son.

We pray for your fiancé’s healing, but we also pray for his soul. Lord, if he does not know You as Savior, draw him to Yourself. Break the chains of sin in his life and set him free by the power of Your Spirit. If this relationship is not in alignment with Your Word, give him the courage to walk away and pursue holiness. May he find his identity in Christ alone, not in the fleeting desires of this world (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Father, we ask for Your mercy and grace to cover this situation. Heal his body, Lord, but more importantly, heal his heart. Fill him with Your love, Your truth, and Your peace. Give him strength to endure this trial and patience to wait on Your perfect timing. Surround him with godly believers who can encourage him in the faith and point him to Your Word. May he experience Your presence in a tangible way during this difficult season.

We also pray for you, dear sister or brother in Christ. This trial is not easy, and we ask that You sustain them as well. Give them wisdom in how to support their loved one while also standing firm in Your truth. Help them to speak the truth in love, even when it is difficult, and to point him to the hope found only in Jesus. May they be a light in this darkness, reflecting Your love and grace.

Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your sovereignty. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We ask for Your healing, Your peace, and Your presence to fill this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
