Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this important time as you prepare to begin your nursing college.
We have been lifting you up before the Lord and remembering the fear you shared about how you will survive the next three years, about the strict environment of the college and the hostel, and about the unsettling things you were told concerning spiritual darkness there. We have prayed for the Lord to replace that fear with His peace and presence, for His protection over you in that hostel, and for Him to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We have also prayed that you and your friend may be placed in the same room, that your studies would go well, and that your little sister who will be an hour away would also be kept safe and comforted. We understand this is the first time you have lived in a hostel and that you are feeling both excited and anxious about missing your family and starting this new chapter at the end of the month, and we have asked God to be your comfort and your guide every step.
We take comfort in the promise of 2 Tim 1:7 that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind, and in Josh 1:9 that the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. We pray that you will feel His nearness daily.
We pray together now, Father we thank You for this dear student and for her thankful heart for Your love. Lord we ask You to drive out all fear and fill her with Your perfect peace that passes understanding. Cover her hostel and her college with Your protection and let no evil come near her dwelling. Bless her friendship and grant her favor to be with her friend if it is Your will, help her in her studies, watch over her little sister, and comfort her and her family as they face this separation. Guide her as she begins this new chapter and remain with her always. We pray in Jesus Name amen.
