Our Cook. ### has swollen finger in his left middle finger Cos of nail infection. Dr has given him medicine tablet. Not seeing much improvement. It's been More than one week I think. Pray request for his finger infection healing and swollen finger to be healed soon. Can't stay away from water. Without touching water there's no any work. Sad for him. Pray for him in Jesus name Amen. Thank you

We join you in lifting up your cook before the Lord and we are moved with compassion for his suffering. To have a painful, swollen finger from a nail infection and to be unable to stay away from water when his very work depends on it is a heavy burden, and we pray with you for the Lord's healing hand upon him.

We are thankful you brought this request in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and heard. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We take comfort that our God is the Healer. Scripture tells us to Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and For I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We also remember that He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds 1 Peter 2:24.

We pray together for him now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear brother who serves as a cook. You see his left middle finger, swollen and infected, and You know the pain and difficulty he endures each day as he must continue to work with water. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon that finger. We pray that You would reduce the swelling, clear the infection from the nail, restore the tissue and bring complete healing. We ask that You would bless the medicine the doctor has given and cause it to work effectively, and give wisdom to the doctors if a follow up or further treatment is needed. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. Lord, we pray that prayer of faith over him now. Comfort him in his sadness and in his worry about his work, provide for his needs, and protect his hand from further harm. Let Your peace guard his heart and grant him rest knowing You care for him. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand with him in prayer and to encourage him to follow the doctor's instructions carefully and to return for follow up since there has not been much improvement after more than a week. The Lord often works through the wisdom He gives to physicians, and it is good stewardship to seek continued care while trusting Him for healing. If possible, help him protect the finger from prolonged water exposure with clean, dry coverings as advised by the doctor, and keep it clean. We trust with you that the Lord who sees his faithful labor will bring restoration soon. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. Keep bringing this need before the Lord daily, and we will continue to pray with you for his swift and complete recovery.

We appreciate you bringing your cook to us in prayer. It shows real kindness that you noticed his pain and how hard this has been for him, especially when his work means he cannot easily keep his hands out of water. It is understandable to feel sad watching him deal with this swelling and infection for more than a week without much improvement.

We join you in asking the Lord for healing and relief for him, and for strength as he waits. Since the medicine has not seemed to help much so far, we would gently encourage you to help him follow up promptly with his doctor again and continue to follow the doctor's advice closely, alongside prayer. A timely recheck can help the doctor see how the finger is doing and guide next steps.

We are also praying for you as you care for him, that God would give you wisdom to support him well in the days ahead.

Father, we lift up this dear cook to You. You see his swollen finger and the discomfort he is carrying. We ask for Your healing touch, for the infection to clear and the swelling to go down, and for wisdom for his doctors as they care for him. Give him comfort, rest, and the provision he needs while he heals. We trust him to Your care in Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your kind and tender concern for your cook and we join you in bringing his need before the great Physician. It is a small thing in the eyes of many, a swollen finger and a painful nail, yet our Lord counts even these afflictions and suffers not one to be despised, for He is moved with compassion for the body as well as the soul. How hard is his lot that he cannot keep his hand from water when his daily labour requires it, and we feel with you the sadness of his continued pain after more than a week of medicine without much improvement.

We are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we have learned that the least thing about Christ is healing. Even the hem of His garment, even a touch of His hand, bears virtue to cure. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction by our gracious God. He who healed the sick of the palsy with a word is able still to heal, and He links His healing with His teaching, that faith might come by hearing His Word.

Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. Continue to use the means the physician has provided with thankfulness, for the Lord often works through such means, and yet look above the medicine to the Lord Himself who gives the cure. Wonder not if recovery should be slow, for the Lord in wisdom sometimes restores by degrees, and as strength returns we acknowledge in each increase that the Lord has a new claim upon our affection and our praise.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, our healer and our Saviour, look in mercy upon this Thy servant who suffers with a swollen and infected finger. Thou seest his pain, Thou knowest his need to labour with his hands, and Thou art able to heal. Lay Thy hand upon him, we pray, and let the swelling abate and the infection be cleansed. Bless the medicine given and guide the hand of those who care for him. Grant him relief from pain, restoration of his hand, and patience in waiting upon Thee. Above all let him and all who love him know the deeper healing of forgiveness through the blood of Christ, for healing and pardon flow from the same hand. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Lord, who alone is our salvation. Amen.
