We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious niece who is suffering from this viral illness. We see her pain, her inability to eat, and the distress it is causing her and your family. Father God, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon her. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Lord, we stand on this promise and ask for complete healing for this little one.
We rebuke this virus in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this healing for her, Lord. We pray that those spots on her body would vanish, that her pain would cease, and that she would be able to eat and drink without discomfort. We ask for Your peace to fill her little heart, calming her fears and soothing her pain. May she feel Your comforting presence, Lord, even in the midst of this trial.
We also pray for wisdom and strength for her parents and caregivers. Give them patience, discernment, and the ability to provide the care she needs. Guide the hands of her doctors and nurses, Lord, that they may be instruments of Your healing. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You love this child even more than we do.
If there is any unconfessed sin in the lives of those caring for her, we pray for repentance and forgiveness, that nothing would hinder Your healing power. We know that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We declare that Jesus is the Great Physician, and we trust in His power to restore her to full health.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
