We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother and you in prayer, asking for His healing touch upon both of your bodies. The discomfort and uncertainty you are experiencing are not unknown to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry. We stand on the promise found in Psalm 103:2-3, which says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Our God is a healer, and we trust in His power to restore health and strength.
Father God, we ask You to lay Your healing hands upon them both. Touch their stomachs and bring relief from the pain and discomfort they are enduring. Stop the loose motions and restore their bodies to full health. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. In Jeremiah 32:27, You declare, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We believe in Your power and Your willingness to heal, and we ask that You would move mightily in this situation.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for both of them. If there is something specific that needs to be addressed—whether it be diet, stress, or another underlying issue—we ask that You would reveal it to them. Guide them to make choices that promote health and well-being, and if medical attention is needed, lead them to the right care. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be attempting to take hold in their bodies. In the name of Jesus, we command every affliction to leave and declare that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, meant to glorify God. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We stand on this truth and declare healing over them both.
We encourage you both to draw near to God during this time. Spend time in His Word, for it is life and health to all our flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Let your faith be strengthened as you meditate on His promises, and let your hearts be filled with peace, knowing that He is in control. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. We lift up this dear sister and her mother to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their lives. Lord, we ask that You would touch their bodies and bring complete healing to their stomachs. Ease their pain, stop the loose motions, and restore their strength. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise today.
Father, we also ask for Your wisdom to surround them. Show them if there is anything they need to change or address in their lives to promote healing and health. Give them peace and patience as they wait on You, and fill them with the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke every spirit of sickness and infirmity in the name of Jesus. We declare that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we command every affliction to leave. We speak life and health over them, trusting in Your power to bring restoration.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your love, and we believe that You will answer according to Your perfect will. Strengthen their faith, draw them closer to You, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
