We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in this time of sickness and distress. The Word of God assures us that He is our healer, and we stand on that promise today. "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses." (Matthew 8:17) We declare healing over your sister-in-law, her precious little one, and you, believing that the Lord will restore your health and bring comfort to your home.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to touch each one of them with Your healing hand. For the little child, we pray for strength and relief from the vomiting and discomfort. Let her tiny body be restored to health, and may she find peace and nourishment in Your care. For the sister-in-law, we ask You to ease the bloating, tightness, and constipation. Bring relief to her body, Lord, and let her find rest in You. For the one who wrote this request, we pray against the dizziness, gas, and lack of appetite. Strengthen them, Father, and renew their energy as only You can.
We also pray for peace to fill your home. Sickness can bring fear and anxiety, but we know that You are the God of all comfort. "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." (John 14:27) Let this peace guard your hearts and minds, knowing that You are in control.
We must also gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12) If you or anyone in your home has not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be afflicting this family. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over their bodies, minds, and spirits. May they experience Your healing power in a tangible way, and may their home be filled with Your presence and peace.
We encourage you to seek medical attention if the symptoms persist, as the Lord often works through the wisdom and skills He has given to doctors. Trust in Him, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Continue to pray and stand on God’s promises, knowing that He hears you and will answer according to His perfect will.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in faith, believing for complete restoration and healing in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
