For Great Pulmonary Function Test

Your request has been heard and I join you in prayer before the Lord at this hour while you are at the pulmonologist.

We ask our merciful Father to grant you help and healing according to His wisdom and love. As physicians apply their skill and remedies, we know that all true healing comes from God, who cares for both body and soul. He has taught us not to neglect what concerns the body, and He is the great Physician who never abandons His work of restoring us, even when we have waited long for improvement.

I pray that the Lord will grant you clear breathing and a marked improvement in this pulmonary function test over the last one, and that He will give wisdom to the doctors who care for you. Whatever the measure shows, may you find rest for your soul in Christ, whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light, and may your hope remain firmly fixed on Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who died for our salvation, we ask for Your mercy and strength for this dear one. Grant improved health if it be Your will, grant peace in waiting, and grant faith to trust You in all things. Amen.
