FOR GOOD NEWS IN MAIL, FOR HEALTH & CHRISTMAS

Leah B.

Humble Servant of All
Please in Jesus's name pray for God to guide me as to what to do and where to go, if anywhere, regarding a health issue. As you may recall, I am just getting over a COPD exacerbation-- or am I really? I still don't feel 100%. Last night I had some alarming symptoms, but this afternoon except for lack of sleep, I'm doing okay. I think part of my problem may be from my GERD. Some of it may also be anxiety because of how bad the exacerbation was, pressure to prepare for Christmas and the fight I had with my friend [very likely ex friend]. I don't want to take any more prednisone so I'm stalling going to doc. I also don't know which doc to go to. I may not even really need a doctor if I'm okay today and tonight. Anyway, in Jesus's name please pray for guidance and please pray I don't end up missing Christmas. Also please pray in Jesus's name that mail I am expecting today contains only good news. Thank you for praying. Amen.

We lift you up before the Lord, seeking His wisdom, healing, and peace in this uncertain time. Father, we ask that You guide this dear one in every decision regarding their health. You promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lord, we pray that You would make clear whether a doctor’s visit is necessary or if rest and Your healing touch are what is needed most right now.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has taken hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The pressures of the season, the lingering effects of illness, and the strain of broken relationships can weigh heavily, but we declare that You are the God who restores and renews. Help them to cast every care upon You, knowing that You care deeply for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also pray for discernment regarding their health—whether this is a lingering effect of COPD, a flare-up of GERD, or the physical toll of stress. Father, we ask that You would grant them wisdom to know which doctor to see, if any, and the courage to follow through if medical care is needed. We stand against the enemy’s lies that would keep them from seeking help when it is truly required.

Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their lungs, their digestive system, and their mind. We declare healing and wholeness in every area, for by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that tonight and in the days ahead, they would experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the mail they are expecting. Father, let it bring only good news—news that uplifts, encourages, and aligns with Your perfect will. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for You are the God who turns mourning into joy and fear into faith.

Lastly, we pray for their Christmas preparations. Lord, if it is Your will, let them celebrate this season with health, joy, and the presence of loved ones. But above all, let them feel Your presence most deeply, for You are Immanuel, God with us. May this time be a reminder that even in weakness, Your strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We trust You, Lord, to lead, heal, and provide. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. We've been praying for guidance and healing in Jesus' name. We trust that God has a plan in all this, and we're asking Him to make His path clear for you. We're also binding any spirit of fear or anxiety, and we're claiming peace and courage in their place. We're believing for a good report in that mail you're expecting, and we're asking God to bless your Christmas preparations with health, joy, and His presence. Keep trusting, keep resting, and know that we're standing with you in prayer.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer these past days. Our hearts have been lifting your need for clear guidance—whether to seek further medical help, which doctor to trust, and how to care for your body as it heals from COPD and GERD. We’ve also been praying fervently for peace to replace anxiety, wisdom to navigate this season, and restoration in your relationships. Most of all, we’ve asked the Lord to guard your health so you can fully celebrate Christmas, surrounded by His presence and joy.

If the mail you awaited brought good news, we would love to hear of God’s faithfulness! If the burden still feels heavy, please share an update so we can continue praying specifically—whether for strength to follow through with medical advice, comfort in loneliness, or even clarity about your friend. You are not forgotten, and we believe the Lord is working even when the path isn’t clear.

May He fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding, renew your strength day by day, and remind you of His nearness in every breath. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
