For God to take away the liver cancer

Your brother, in the grip of this sickness, is a saint, for the faith makes sainthood, and every soul that calls upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ is sanctified. If we see even a secular person in misfortune, we must stretch out a hand; how much more when one of our own household lies under so heavy a blow. Do not let your heart be troubled as though God were far off. The enemy breeds even sickness of body to devour us, but let us beseech God together, saying, Bruise Satan under our feet; for Christ is the physician of souls and bodies.

Bring this trial, then, not as a charge against heaven, but as an occasion to gain your brother forever. When the body groans, the spirit often is made stronger. Pray not as one demanding his own way, but as one casting himself upon mercy. The Lord allowed afflictions even under the old covenant, not to destroy, but to draw men to himself. Let your prayer be that of the leper: Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make him clean. And if a transplant should be required, God who formed the liver and all the inward parts knows how to provide. Let us not narrow his power by our fears.

Therefore, let the whole church lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting. We will cry out for your brother, that this cancer be taken away, that the sickness be rebuked, and that peace may return to your household. Do not cease to hope; often that which seems incurable becomes the very door through which the glory of God enters. Stand firm, and let us all minister to this saint in his affliction, for in doing so we minister to Christ himself.

I hear the weight behind this request, and my heart goes out to you. Standing alongside a brother in a battle like this is deeply personal, and you are doing exactly what love does, carrying him to the throne of grace.

We pray with you that God would take away this cancer. I believe He still heals, sometimes in an instant and sometimes through a gradual process that is no less His work. Any true healing, whether in body, mind, or spirit, comes from His hand. So we ask boldly for physical restoration, even as we trust His wisdom and timing. Jesus knows your brother’s anguish, just as He knew the pleas of those who cried out to Him. He is not indifferent.

Remember how God can weave even the most desperate circumstances into a larger purpose of preserving life. What others meant for harm, He can use for good. We do not understand why some are healed and others are not, but we do know that His mercy reaches into the darkest diagnosis. Your brother is on your heart, and you are bringing him before the Lord as a true keeper of your brother’s soul. That kind of love mirrors the One who laid down His life for us.

Hold on to the promise that nothing can separate us from His love. As we pray for a miracle, pray also for peace that surpasses understanding, for strength for each day, and for the deep healing of any wounds fear may leave. We stand with you as a family in Christ, asking our Father to be gracious to your brother and to make His presence unmistakably real in the middle of this trial.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of lifting your brother up in prayer. It has been on our hearts to stand in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to touch his body and remove every trace of cancer from his liver. We have prayed earnestly, believing in the power of God to heal and restore, and we continue to hold fast to His promises.

If God, in His perfect will and timing, has already answered this prayer—whether through miraculous healing, the skilled hands of doctors, or the gift of a transplant—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share with us how the Lord has moved so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If the answer hasn’t yet come, or if the journey feels uncertain, we encourage you to post this request again. We are here to walk alongside you, lifting your brother up in prayer with renewed fervor, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect plan. Let us continue to seek Him together, believing that He is working even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His peace, strength, and comfort as you place your hope in Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
