PRAISE THE LORD, LAST DAY I TALKED WITH MY MOM REGARDING MARRIAGE AND ABOUT WHEN THEY WILL START SEARCHING THEY TOLD WE WILL BUT I DONT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL START TO SEARCH THEY ARE TELLING ME TO WAIT FOR THE RIGHT PERSON INSTEAD OF RUSHING INTO IT SHE TOLD IT POLITELY. BUT MY TIME IS GOING OUT. NOW AGAIN I AM TENSED WHERE TO FIND SO CALLED RIGHT PERSON. I DONT WANT TO COMPROMISE ON MY EXPECTATION WHICH IS ONLY REASONABLE LIKE LOVING CARING SUPPORTIVE AND SOMEWHAT GOOD LOOKING LIKE MY COMPLEXION. I TOLD MY MOM I AM AFRAID TO WAIT BECAUSE ONE OF MY COUSIN HE MARRIED LATE AT AGE ### IN WHICH HIS MOTHER ARRANGED THE MARRIAGE WITH A GIRL THINKING THAT SHE IS BEAUTIFUL BUT HSE WAS WITH MAKEUP AND SHE LOOKS SO UGLY WHERE THIS GUY NOW POSTING PHOTOS ONLY AFTER PROFESSIONALLY EDITING IN PHOTOSHOP. I DONT WANT TO BE INN THAT POSITION DELAYED AND MARRYING SOMEONE WHO IS NNOT UPTO MY ABOVE EXPECTIONS I DONT WANT A WEALTHY OR HIGH CLASS EDUCATION LIKE PERSON. REALLY AFRAID TO WAIT BECAUSE I CANT CONTROL MYSELF PLS DONT COME UP WITH LECTURE TO CONTROL AND FRUIT OF SPIRIT. ITS EASY TO ADVICE RATHER THAN TO LIVE LIKE THAT. ALSO WORRIED THAT IN FUTURE IF I GET AFFECTED WITH SOME SICKNESS AND GETS FURTHER DELAYED. I AM ALSO INSECURE WITH THE THOUGHT OF BEING SINGLE EVEN I AM IN EARLY TWENTIES RIGHT NOW. ITS VERY DIFFICULT TO LIVE SINGLE AND KEEP WAITING AFTER HAVING IMMENSE DESIRE FOR MARRIAGE SINCE AGE ###. PLS PRAY THAT IN JESUS NAME IT MIGHT HAPPEN SOON REMOVING ALL HINDRANCES

We hear the deep longing and urgency in your heart for marriage and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we pray with confidence.

We understand your conversation with your mother and we honor that she spoke to you politely and with wisdom when she counseled you to wait for the right person instead of rushing. That counsel aligns with scripture which says To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1 and also Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14. We know waiting feels very difficult when the desire for marriage has been strong since your youth, but we want to gently encourage you that being in your early twenties is still very young in the Lord's timing. Your time is not going out. The Lord is not late and He sees your desire. We pray you will trust His perfect timing rather than fear that delay will force you into a compromise.

We also want to speak to you in love about some things you shared that need correction. You mentioned your cousin's wife and described her as ugly and spoke about makeup and photoshop in a way that dishonors her as a daughter of God. The Lord does not look as man looks, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised Proverbs 31:30. Your desire for a loving, caring and supportive wife is good and godly, and it is right to desire a marriage that honors God, but we encourage you to examine your heart regarding appearance. To seek a wife primarily by complexion or outward beauty can lead to disappointment, because godly beauty is found in a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:4. We pray you will seek first a fellow believer who loves Jesus, for we are told Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14, and that you will value her character and faith above all else, trusting that the Lord will make her beautiful to you as your wife.

You also shared that you cannot control yourself and you asked us not to speak about self control and the fruit of the Spirit. We must love you enough to speak the truth even when it is difficult to hear. God's Word is clear that we are to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and that this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. The ability to control ourselves is not by our own strength but is fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23, and the Lord will give you grace to walk in purity as you submit to Him. Marriage is indeed ordained by God and He said It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him Genesis 2:18 and He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22, and if there is a burning passion it is better to marry than to burn 1 Corinthians 7:9, but until that marriage covenant, which is a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, we are called to remain pure and to not engage in fornication, which is any sexual intimacy outside of marriage. We encourage you to bring this struggle honestly to the Lord, to flee temptation, to stay accountable in your church community, and to ask Him daily for strength to live holy.

We also hear your fear and insecurity about remaining single, about future sickness, and about being left behind. The Lord knows these anxieties and He invites you to cast them on Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Your worth is not in your marital status but in Christ, and those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength Isaiah 40:31. We encourage you to seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33 and to delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 as you align your desires with His will.

We join together now and pray for you.

Father in heaven, we lift up our brother to Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. You know his deep desire for a godly wife and for marriage that honors You. We ask that You guard his heart from anxiety and fear, and fill him with Your peace as he waits on You. Forgive him where he has judged by outward appearance and where he has harbored lust or impatience, and cleanse him and strengthen him to walk in purity and self control by Your Holy Spirit. Help him to honor his parents and to trust their godly counsel, and lead his family as they seek a wife for him if that is Your way. We pray that You will prepare a godly, loving, caring, supportive wife who is a true believer in Jesus Christ, and that You will prepare him to be a godly husband. Remove any hindrance that is not of You, but above all let Your perfect will and timing be done, for You know what is best. Protect him from fear of the future and from sickness, and help him to rest in Your sovereign care and to use this season of singleness to grow closer to You and to serve You faithfully. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We hear how much weight you have been carrying around this, and we appreciate you sharing it so honestly. Wanting marriage deeply since you were young, and now feeling torn between your mom's encouragement to wait and your own fear that waiting means missing out or settling, is a very hard place to be. It makes sense you feel tense and insecure, especially in your early twenties when so much feels uncertain.

It is understandable the story about your cousin stuck with you. When you want a loving, caring, supportive wife and you have a clear, reasonable picture of that, the thought of ending up disappointed after waiting a long time can feed a lot of worry. And that worry itself can make waiting feel even harder, with thoughts going round and round about timing, health, and the future.

We found your conversation with your mom encouraging, she spoke politely and you were able to tell her your fears openly. One gentle next step could be to keep that dialogue going in a practical way, perhaps asking together what a prayerful, unhurried search could actually look like in your family and community, and how you can both stay involved and at peace in the process. It can also help to stay rooted in faithful community and purposeful work while you wait, not to earn marriage but to keep growing as the kind of husband you hope to be.

We are praying for you.

Father, we bring our brother to You in Jesus' name. You know his deep desire for marriage and the anxiety he feels about time. Give him Your peace, clear wisdom for each next decision, and trusted guidance from family and community. Prepare him and prepare the wife You have for him, and remove hindrances according to Your perfect will and timing. Keep him close to You in this season. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we have heard the heaviness and haste that presses upon your heart. The desire for marriage is honorable, for marriage is of God, and it is right to bring this desire to Him in prayer. Yet with that desire there has come a great burden of anxiety, and you speak of tension, fear, and an inability to wait.

Our Savior bids us, Neither be you of a doubtful mind. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You are in a great hurry to do something, and that haste may do more mischief than would happen if you kept still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him. To be in your early twenties is not to have your time going out. The Lord who numbers our days is not slow as men count slowness, and He waits that He may be gracious. There is a waiting God and there is a waiting people, and His people are not waiting in despair nor in hesitation, but waiting in hope, a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve.

You ask to find the right person soon and to have all hindrances removed. We will pray with you that the Lord in His wisdom will provide a godly wife in His perfect time, one who loves Christ first and will love and care for you as a helper fitted for a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. But we must also exhort you to self examination, for there is in all our hearts a great backwardness to it, and yet it is needful. You say you do not wish to compromise on expectation, and to desire a loving, caring and supportive wife is good and reasonable. Yet when the heart fixes much upon outward appearance, upon complexion and comeliness, and judges by what is seen in a photograph or adorned by art, it forgets that marriage is not a relationship of mere outward attraction. It is cemented by mutual love and by choice on both sides, and in a true marriage the two become one. Outward beauty fades, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Look not only upon outward form, but pray for one whose vineyard is kept within, whose heart is humble before God.

You speak also of fear that you cannot control yourself and you do not wish to be told to control yourself. We speak this not as a lecture of mere advice, but as the truth of our need. Without Me ye can do nothing, says Christ, and that includes those little deeds of piety and restraint for which in our proud self conceit we think ourselves already equipped. Every grain of self strength is weakness, and every particle of self reliance is poison. Waiting upon God is the way to renew our strength until we mount up with eagle wings. It is there, in waiting upon Him as a servant waits upon his lord and as a traveler waits upon his guide, that we receive mysterious strength through the incoming of the Eternal Spirit into our souls. That waiting breeds peace within, and when a man is perfectly at rest within, he cares little for trials or foes. It also makes us grow small and dwarfs the world and all its affairs till we see their real littleness. Apart from Him you cannot keep yourself pure, but with Him you can, for He gives power to live within the bounds He has set, where the gift of intimacy belongs only within marriage.

Do not let the example of another, or the fear of future sickness, drive you to a hasty choice. That is carnal security and not faith. The Lord searches the heart and tries the reins, and He would have you humble yourself under His mighty hand. In proportion as we live near to God we feel our own blackness and our need of His grace, and we say, Look not upon me, for I am black, and so we cast ourselves upon Christ alone for salvation and for help. He who gave Himself as the Lamb has betrothed His people to Himself, and that heavenly marriage teaches us what earthly marriage should reflect, love that is sacrificial and holy.

Therefore we pray for you, that God would guard your heart from doubtful thoughts and from haste, that He would teach you to wait upon Him daily for direction in the entire voyage of life, that He would grant you self knowledge and self humbling and true dependence upon Christ, that He would keep you pure and at peace while you wait, and that He would in His own time and in His own way bring to you, if it be His will, a godly wife who loves the Lord Jesus Christ above all, to enter with you into that covenant which mirrors Christ and His Church. And above all we pray that whether married or single, your own vineyard may be kept, your soul established in Christ, your hope fixed not on a gift but on the Giver, who does all things well.
