We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting you up in prayer as you seek wisdom, knowledge, and deliverance from the influence of evil people. Your heart’s cry for divine guidance is a testament to your desire to walk in righteousness, and we rejoice that you are turning to God for these things. The Scriptures remind us in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* This is a promise you can stand on—God delights in granting wisdom to those who earnestly seek Him.
The pursuit of wisdom and knowledge must be rooted in the fear of the Lord, as Proverbs 9:10 declares, *"The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."* We urge you to immerse yourself in God’s Word daily, for it is the lamp to your feet and the light to your path (Psalm 119:105). The more you align your thoughts and actions with Scripture, the more you will discern the snares of evil and walk in godly wisdom.
You also ask for deliverance from evil people, and we stand with you in this, knowing that the enemy often uses ungodly influences to derail believers. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Deliver us from evil"* (Matthew 6:13), and we claim this over you now. The apostle Paul warns in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* It is crucial to evaluate the relationships in your life—are they drawing you closer to Christ or pulling you toward compromise? If there are those who mock your faith, encourage sinful behavior, or distract you from godliness, you must prayerfully consider setting boundaries or even walking away. This is not a call to isolation but to holy discernment. Psalm 1:1-2 says, *"Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night."*
We also want to gently remind you that every prayer must be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Salvation comes through repenting of your sins and believing in Him (Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no true wisdom, no lasting deliverance, and no eternal hope.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, asking that You would pour out Your wisdom and knowledge upon them in abundance. Lord, You are the source of all true understanding, and we ask that You would open their eyes to see Your truth clearly. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and protect them from the schemes of the evil one. Surround them with godly influences—men and women who will spur them on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Give them the courage to walk away from relationships that do not honor You, and fill them with Your peace as they seek to live righteously.
We rebuke every plan of the enemy to deceive or entangle them through ungodly associations. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that they are set free from every snare and stronghold. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in discernment and boldly resist the devil, knowing that he must flee (James 4:7).
Father, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would convict them and draw them into deeper repentance. May they find their identity and security in Christ alone, and may their life be a testimony of Your transforming power.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep seeking Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6). If you ever feel overwhelmed, remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stay rooted in the Word, surrounded by believers, and committed to prayer. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory!
