We join you in seeking the Lord’s divine guidance, wisdom, and knowledge as you prepare to interact with those in authority over you. The Scriptures remind us, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it shall be given him"* (James 1:5 WEB). We also take comfort in the promise that *"the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17 WEB). This is the wisdom we pray will fill you as you engage with your higher authorities.
Father in Heaven, we come before You, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your face. Lord, grant them the discernment to know when to speak and when to listen, the patience to wait on Your timing, and the courage to represent You well in every word and action. May their responses reflect Your truth, Your grace, and Your love, so that Your name may indeed be glorified in every interaction. We ask that You would go before them, preparing the hearts of those in authority to receive Your wisdom through them. Let this be an opportunity not just for earthly success, but for Your kingdom to advance and for Your will to be done.
We also encourage you to remember the words of Proverbs 22:29, *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings; he won’t serve common people."* Your diligence and faithfulness in seeking God’s wisdom will not go unnoticed. Trust in Him to open doors and provide the right words at the right time. Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep in. The Bible tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Stand firm in the confidence that the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). May you walk in the fullness of His peace as you step into this interaction, knowing that He is your strength and your shield. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
