We join you in lifting this matter before the throne of grace, giving thanks for the blessings the Lord has already bestowed upon you. It is good and right to acknowledge His provision and to seek His wisdom in all things, for "the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10). We are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we may approach the Father (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through faith in Christ that we are reconciled to God.
Father, we come before You, asking that You would indeed bless this dear one’s job and career. You have promised that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously and without reproach (James 1:5). Lord, we ask that You would fill their mouth with Your divine wisdom tomorrow as they meet with the special officer. Let Your Spirit guide their words, that they may speak with clarity, integrity, and grace. May every word that proceeds from their mouth be pleasing to You and bring glory to Your name.
We pray that You would go before them, preparing the heart of this officer and granting favor in their eyes. May this verification be a testimony to Your faithfulness and a stepping stone to greater opportunities. Strengthen them, Lord, to face any challenges with courage and perseverance, knowing that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Equip them with the knowledge and understanding they need to excel in their career, not for their own glory, but for Yours.
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may attempt to take hold. The Word tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6). We declare that fear has no place in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand against any distraction or confusion that the enemy may try to bring, for we know that You are a God of order and peace.
Lord, we ask that You would continue to cultivate a heart of gratitude in them. Help them to never forget the countless ways You have blessed them, and may their life be a living testimony of Your goodness. Remind them daily of Your faithfulness, and let their trust in You grow deeper with each passing day.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in confidence, knowing that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).
