For God to bless me with peace that passes all understanding.

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I need peace and provision in my life. I know God is able. I want and need a loving touch from him. Im weary. Jesus is able. Thank you

We join with you in this request for the peace that surpasses all understanding and for God's provision in your weariness, and we thank you for declaring that Jesus is able, for He truly is.

We hear your heart crying out for a loving touch from the Father, and we know that He sees you in your weariness and draws near to the weary. Scripture reminds us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. That is the very peace you are asking for, a peace not dependent on circumstances but guarded by Christ Himself.

We also stand with you for provision, trusting the promise in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. He knows your needs before you ask and He is able to provide, to comfort, and to lift you up when you feel overwhelmed. As it says in Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. And in 1 Peter 5:7, cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this dear one who is weary and longing for Your peace and provision. Lord, pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon this heart and mind, guard them in Christ Jesus, and quiet every anxious thought. Touch them with Your loving presence, let them feel Your nearness, for You are near to those who are brokenhearted. We ask You to provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, to give rest to the weary soul, to renew strength, and to remind them that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think. Lead them when their heart is overwhelmed to the rock that is higher, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear. We thank You that Jesus is able and that it is through His name we have access to You and find grace, mercy, and salvation. Sustain them daily, fill them with hope, and let Your joy be their strength. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, to rest in His Word daily, and to trust that His hand is upon you even in this weary season. He has not forgotten you and His loving touch is not far from you. Keep seeking Him, for those who seek Him will find Him, and He will give you His peace as you keep your mind stayed on Him.

We hear the weariness in your words, and we are grateful you brought it honestly to the Lord. Wanting His peace and His provision and His loving touch is a good and right prayer, and we join you in it. We admire the faith you voiced, that Jesus is able, even while you feel worn down.

When peace feels far off, it can help to have one simple, steady place to turn. If it would help, try setting aside just a few quiet minutes each day to tell Jesus plainly what feels heaviest, without needing to fix it in that moment, and to ask Him for His peace and daily provision. You do not have to carry this alone either. Consider letting one trusted pastor or believing friend know you are weary and asking them to pray with you regularly. Being known and prayed for by another believer can make the days feel less heavy.

Father, we lift this friend to You and thank You that You see weariness and hear every prayer. We ask You to draw near with Your loving presence and to guard their heart and mind with Your peace. Provide for their needs as only You can, according to Your wisdom and goodness, and give them rest and strength for each day. Help them to feel Your touch and to know they are held by You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your cry for peace has been heard, and it is a good and right prayer, for the peace you seek is that which God Himself delights to give. You speak truly when you say Jesus is able, for there is no weariness so deep that He cannot reach it, and no need so great that His hand cannot supply.

The peace that passes all understanding is not a mere lull of anxiety, nor a stagnation of thought, nor a blindness to danger. It is a peace divinely born, divinely nourished, and quite above the influence of this poor whirling world. It comes not by trying to work it out yourself, but by being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. When the soul learns that its enormous debt of sin has been fully discharged by the Lord Jesus, who did this for all believers, then the heart is at peace. Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and that peace then keeps the heart and mind by Christ Jesus as a sacred guard.

This is why Scripture says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. It is a filling peace, a sea that has no bottom nor shore, an intense restfulness. Do not seek after peace first. Seek after Christ first, and peace will come next. He is first King of Righteousness, and after that King of Peace. Where an unrighteous peace exists it must be broken up, that a better peace may be established upon a true foundation which will last forever, and that foundation is the blood and righteousness of Christ alone.

You say you are weary. Our Lord still says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He waits to be gracious. As Noah waited for the Lord to open the door of the ark, so wait upon God and look to His providence. He who shut the door will open it in due time, and He will not despise the weary dove that returns to Him, even though it brings nothing in its beak. He washed you once in the blood of Christ, and He will wash you again and restore you.

We join our prayer with yours, that the God of hope would fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost. May He grant you that peace which passes all understanding to guard your heart and mind, and may He also supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May you not only talk about this peace and believe in it, but enjoy it and exhibit it, so that even in the trying hour you may stand and say, It is enough, earths struggles soon shall cease, and Jesus calls us to Heavens perfect peace.

May the Lord bless His people with peace, and may you go in peace, for your faith in Christ has saved you.

Your longing for peace and for the loving touch of God in your weariness has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before Him with thanksgiving.

Scripture tells us that the peace of God surpasses all understanding, and will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. This does not mean only that the peace itself is beyond our thought, but that the God who gives it is far greater than our understanding, greater than the understanding of angels, and He upholds all things by the word of His power. When our thoughts and words fail and we cannot fully comprehend His ways, we can still trust Him and glorify Him, for He is able to do what we cannot. The peace He gives is not like the peace the world gives. It is the peace Christ left to His own, that guards us and keeps us firm in Him even when troubles press in around us.

You asked also for provision, and you are right to confess that Jesus is able. God knows what you need and He is faithful to provide what is necessary for life and health. Scripture warns us not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but it also teaches us to care for our needs in a sober and healthy way, trusting the Father and spending our chief care on spiritual things. Bring your needs to Him in prayer, with thanksgiving, and trust Him to supply what is good for you as you seek Him first.

We also hear your weariness. The Lord comforts those who are weary and heavy laden, that they may find rest in Him and be fitted to bear what comes. He does not leave you alone in this struggle, but draws near to comfort you and to strengthen you.

Let us pray together for you.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are the God of peace and the God who provides. We lift up this weary heart to You and ask that You would grant the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let there be peace with You through faith in Your Son, and from that peace let inner calm and steadiness flow. Touch with Your loving presence, comfort and renew strength, and lift the burden of weariness. Provide for every need according to Your wisdom and goodness, and teach us to trust You day by day. Help us to rest in Jesus, who alone saves and who invites all who are weary to come to Him for rest. Keep this life in Christ, firm and hopeful, until You bring full deliverance. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
