First, let us address the foundation of our trust. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name we pray with confidence. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, for He alone is the source of true peace, provision, and salvation.
Now, regarding the weddings, we rejoice with you in the covenant your children are entering into. Marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). However, we must also guard against the temptation to measure love or success by worldly standards—such as extravagant expenses—that may lead to unnecessary debt or stress. Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
