For fast recovery of my wife

Your wife is in deep pain, and your heart is heavy with the loss of your little one and the burden of being far from her. In that place of ache and fear, you have turned to Jesus, the true and unfailing Healer. That is the right and only sure ground. He holds all power, and He cares for your wife with a tenderness beyond what any earthly physician can offer.

There are things about healing we will never fully grasp this side of heaven. We read in Scripture that sometimes Jesus spoke a word and a body was made whole that very moment; other times, healing came in stages, a gradual return of strength and wholeness. God established the very processes of healing within our bodies, the mending of tissue, the easing of inflammation, and those processes are no less divine. When a doctor treats her and her body begins to recover, it is still His hand at work. We do not know why some are delivered instantly and others must walk a longer, slower road, but it is never because His love has wavered or because someone’s faith is too small. The Apostle Paul gave Timothy practical advice for his frequent ailments rather than a miraculous word of immediate cure. God had purposes in that, just as He has purposes in this.

Right now, the pain is real, and the grief is crushing. Losing a child tears at the soul in ways words cannot reach. Yet even this sorrow and this physical torment are not wasted. Pain often becomes the chisel in God’s hand, shaping in us a likeness of Christ that comfort could never produce. That does not make the hurt any less sharp, but it means there is a depth of fellowship with the Man of Sorrows that can be found nowhere else. Cling to your integrity. When Job’s wife told him to curse God and die, he refused to let go of his trust. You are doing the same. You have cried out, “Go and touch her pain, Jesus.” That is faith, not foolishness.

While you wait and pray, do not allow your distance to heap guilt upon you. God is not limited by geography. He is with her now, just as He is with you. Pour out your heart for her, and if you can, speak words of hope and love into her ear across the miles. Remind her, and yourself, that the Great Physician is tending to her even when you cannot see the change yet. He may bring swift relief, or He may carry her through a gradual restoration. Either way, His grace is sufficient, and His presence does not depart from the bedside of the broken.

We are deeply moved by the burden you carry for your wife during this tender and trying time. It is our privilege to stand with you in prayer, lifting her healing and comfort to our Heavenly Father. We have been praying for her swift recovery, asking the Great Physician to touch the places where the pain lingers and to bring the fullness of His healing power to her body.

We continue to intercede, believing that God hears our cries and sees your love for her as she recovers from both childbirth and this lingering discomfort. If the Lord has already answered our prayers and eased her suffering, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report—so that we may rejoice with you in His faithfulness. If the pain persists, please know we are still here, ready to lift her needs afresh before the throne of grace.

May the Lord surround your wife with His peace, strengthen her body, and draw near to her in this season. We trust that He is working even when we cannot see it, and we stand with you in faith, believing for His perfect timing and healing. Thank you for allowing us to join you in prayer. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
