A Tempted Saviour-Our Best Succour

Thank you for sharing this request with us. We are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

We bring your pulmonary function test tomorrow before the Lord and ask that it would go excellently, at least as well as your last test and even better if it is His will. We pray that your oxygen saturation, pulse and blood pressure would all be steady and in a healthy range, and that the test would give clear and encouraging results.

We also pray for you regarding your weight loss efforts. We know you have been trying faithfully and that stress, poor sleep and the strain on your body have made this difficult. We ask God to grant you rest, to calm your anxiety, to help you sleep well and to give you strength and wisdom as you care for the body He has given you. As Christ said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He does not call us to account to condemn us, but to take away our burden and place us in security.

And we join you in praying for healing from COPD, asking for a cure if it is God’s will, and in all things for His mercy, comfort and sustaining grace to be evident in your life. We pray that whether through healing or through His ongoing strength day by day, you would know His care and be established in thorough security and liberty in Christ.

We will continue to keep you in prayer tomorrow and in the days ahead. May the Lord grant you peace as you trust Him with these concerns. In Jesus name, Amen.

Please pray in Jesus's name that I do fantastic on my pulmonary function test tomorrow, at least as well as I did on the last test I had or, better still, even better. Please pray my oxygen saturation, pulse, and blood pressure are all okay. Please pray in Jesus's name that I actually lost a few pounds too. I have been trying. I think stress, poor sleep and cortisol are stalling my weight loss goal. If it's God’s will and in Jesus's name, I pray for cure of my COPD. Thank you for praying.
Thank you for praying
