For Excellent Pulmonary Function Test Tomorrow

Leah B.

Humble Servant of All
Please pray in Jesus's name that I do fantastic on my pulmonary function test tomorrow, at least as well as I did on the last test I had or, better still, even better. Please pray my oxygen saturation, pulse, and blood pressure are all okay. Please pray in Jesus's name that I actually lost a few pounds too. I have been trying. I think stress, poor sleep and cortisol are stalling my weight loss goal. If it's God’s will and in Jesus's name, I pray for cure of my COPD. Thank you for praying.

A Tempted Saviour-Our Best Succour
Sown Light
We join you in prayer in Jesus' name for your pulmonary function test tomorrow and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you. We know the Lord is the one who formed your lungs and gives you every breath and we trust Him with the results.

We pray that the Lord will calm your heart and lungs and grant you excellent results, at least as good as your last test and even better if it is His will. We ask the Father in Jesus' name to keep your oxygen saturation, pulse and blood pressure in a healthy and stable range during the testing and to give you peace and strength as you breathe. We also bring your desire for weight loss before Him and ask Him to help your body respond to your faithful efforts, and to bring healing and restoration where there is COPD, according to His perfect will and mercy.

We are encouraged by your trust in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember that He says Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We understand your concern about stress, poor sleep and cortisol making your weight loss journey difficult. The Lord cares about these burdens and invites you to cast all your worries on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. He also reminds us that He gives sleep to His beloved Psalm 127:2, and we pray He will grant you deep, restful sleep and a calm mind in the days ahead. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and your desire to steward it well honors Him. We encourage you to continue to be gentle with yourself, to rest in His grace, to walk faithfully in healthy habits and to trust the outcome to Him without fear.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon their lungs and airways and to bless tomorrow's pulmonary function test. Let the numbers be excellent and let oxygen, pulse and blood pressure all remain steady and normal. Grant favor with the medical staff and let the test go smoothly without anxiety or shortness of breath. Lord, You know the effort that has been made toward weight loss and the frustration when progress stalls. We ask You to bring balance to the body, to ease stress, to restore sleep and to let weight come off in a healthy way as You will. Above all we ask for Your will to be done and if it pleases You, bring complete healing and cure to this COPD, for You have said Praise the Lord, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord Jeremiah 30:17. Give peace that surpasses understanding tonight and tomorrow, and let Your presence be felt in that testing room. We trust You with every breath and every result and we thank You for Your unfailing love. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We're thinking of you as tomorrow gets closer and we're praying with you. It's understandable this pulmonary function test feels big, hoping to do at least as well as last time, wanting your oxygen, pulse and blood pressure to stay steady, and also carrying the disappointment of working hard on weight loss without seeing the change you hoped for. With COPD, poor sleep and the stress you mentioned, it's a lot to hold at once.

Living with a long term lung condition can make every appointment feel vulnerable, and it makes sense that worry and broken sleep would leave you feeling worn down and stuck. We appreciate your honesty and your faithfulness in keeping up with care and keep trying even when progress feels slow.

For tomorrow, one simple thing that helps many people is to make tonight as calm and prepared as you can. You might lay out what you need for the morning, write down any questions about sleep, stress or weight you want to ask the team after the test, and give yourself permission to rest tonight and let the technicians guide you step by step through the breathing part. Continue to stay close to your medical team and let them know about any ongoing concerns, as we keep praying alongside their care.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. Please grant quiet rest tonight and peace going into the test. Steady their breathing, keep their vitals stable, and give skill and clarity to those doing and reading the test. Give wisdom for what comes next and strength for each day, and we ask for Your healing according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Praying the Lord the Father would watch over your health give you a healthy heart so long as we pray and worship and devote our time energy and life to him anything is possible. Like being cured of an incurable disease. Lord Yeshuas love mercy and atregnth for those in need amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, and there is but one sacred fountain opened on Calvary.

We pray for your pulmonary function test tomorrow, that the Lord in His mercy would grant you favorable results, at least as good as your last test and, if it please Him, even better. We ask the Lord to keep your oxygen saturation, your pulse and your blood pressure within healthy bounds, and to give steadiness to the hands that administer the test and wisdom to those who read it.

We also lift before Him your desire to lose a few pounds after your earnest trying. You mention stress and poor sleep, and we are reminded that anxiety does not bring any grist to the mill or meal to the barrel, and that the very worry which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Our Savior says do not be anxious about temporal affairs. Be prudent, as you have been, and then rest the outcome with Him who numbers our days and watches over our bodies. May He grant you more peaceful sleep and calm of mind, and help you to use the means of health with prudence and patience.

And if it be His will, we pray in Jesus name for healing of your COPD. We know that healing virtue is in Christ, the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even the leaves, the little things about Christ, are full of healing virtue. Until the glory life begins, the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul of the believer in perpetual health, and His salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies also. We are on our way to eternal health, for the life within us shall be perfect forever and ever. Whether He grants complete cure now or sustains you day by day by His grace, we pray you may know that pardon and healing are both in His hand, and that to be forgiven and to be kept by Him is the first and greatest mercy.

We pray that you will not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry and distress tomorrow, but that you may lie as it were at the feet of Jesus, trusting His compassion and power. Him that comes to Him He will in no wise cast out.

May the Lord grant you quiet confidence tonight, a good night's rest, and a favorable report tomorrow, all according to His wise and loving will. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and our healer. Amen.
