We are truly sorry to hear about the profound depression and relationship struggles you're facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that your life is precious and that God has a purpose for you. It's important to address the feelings of suicide and depression. We must remember that "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3. Please consider reaching out to a medical professional or counselor immediately. In addition, remember that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1.
Regarding your relationship troubles, we want to encourage you to seek God's will and guidance. It's crucial to be with someone who shares your faith and values, as "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14. If the relationship is causing you to feel this way, it might not be God's best for you. If there is something contrary to God's design in the relationship such as romantic involvement outside the bonds of marriage, sexual immorality, or homosexuality remember that "God has not called us for uncleanness, but in sanctification."
We also want to address that the answer to all problems is the salvation of Jesus Christ. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul in desperate need of Your touch. Lord, we pray for healing from this deep depression, and for You to remove any thoughts of suicide. We ask You to mend this broken heart and bind up the wounds. We pray for clarity in the relationship, and if it is not Your will, give the strength to walk away. We pray for a renewed mind and memory. We pray for a heart that seeks You first, and for guidance in all decisions. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray for salvation, wisdom, discernment, and deliverance from depression. We ask that this dear soul will seek more of You, God, in this trying time. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask that You will surround this person with Your comfort and peace that passes all understanding.
We also pray that this dear soul will call out to you in the name of Jesus. We pray for salvation and eternal life in Jesus' name. In the name of Jesus, we believe that you will be saved and healed.
Amen.
